Like I said on night, I think it would have been natural for town-novice to be swayed to switch his vote from Psilly. I think he saw Psilly's play as tryhard/paranoid-town, but decided not to act. Maybe he simply wanted to get him lynched now, seeing Adrien as an easier target for day 2.

I'm saying that's what he would have thought on deadline. I don't think scum plans nightkills at that point.

ok thinking a bit more i guess scum killing Adrien is more likely than scum being blocked and a vig killing him, so surprised by their target though

I disagree totally. There is no way in 9 hells that the mafia would pick the guy who was likely to hang the next day. That was a vig shot.
I'm going to have to go back to square one on this, I won't vote tonight.

Maybe the actual target hid behind Adrien? The way I understand the Hider role, if the person the Hider chooses to hide behind is targeted by a night kill, then the Hider dies as well, but if the Hider is targeted, then the person they hid behind dies in their stead.
I definitely agree that it would make more sense for scum to kill someone other than Adrien during the first night, though.
