That really surprises me- mine really do take less than 10 min to play. Ofc I've got fewer units on the board and more static positions, but I find this game vastly quicker to play than Civ. That hour was a bit of an exaggeration--I played this turn straight through and it took about 15 minutes. There are two main reasons why I'm spending more time than you would think:
1. The interface is still a pain, especially when you have to go to the damage calculator (as opposed to moving to the unit and just checking)
2. I'm the reason we're going to win this game if we do, so that adds some more pressure to my turns not to mess up.
Anyway, onto the turn!

Nyvelion chose to retreat (only chunking a couple of tanks), so of course I continue to move up:

Honestly, this might be a bit too aggressive--I could easily lose one of my Artillery if Nyvelion decides to attack (Artillery kill 7HP Infantry, B-Copter+Tank kill 7HP Tank, full HP Tank takes a big chunk out of Artillery). The key is that she only has four relevant attackers near the HQ right now (two tanks, the Artillery, and the new B-Copter) and that attack uses (and probably loses) all of them. We also have to start considering our respective SCOPs--we both have about two bars left to our powers, and while Ex-Machina is almost certainly a disaster (can she charge it with just that attack plus her attacks on my eastern tank and the center?), I also have Infantry in range for Victory March if she slips up (which I doubt, since she has a ton of infantry in the area). Then again, I played right into Ex-Machina (I even have my units in the perfect plus shape), so I just need to hope that it doesn't happen this turn (or can one/both of you somehow create a buffer for the ability?)

I'll avoid attacking Nyvelion.
Looks like the game will be decided in the next few (in-game) days. If Fenn falls, we're done. If you can eliminate Nyvelion, we win. No pressure
My front w/ Xmo will probably be stable for a while, so I'm going to divert what I can to shore up Fenn. Hopefully it isn't too late. You look close to breaking Nyvelion, and Bamboozle isn't in a position to relieve her. Perhaps build an APC to push Infantry even closer to the HQ in preparation for your power? You know best.

Also, @ Fenn- I was going to use my B-Copter to attack one of Bamboozle's, but I can instead park it on the Com Tower if you'd prefer the extra security on the structure. IIRC it'll have a fairly hefty counterattack bonus if I do so. Up to you.

Nah, go ahead and attack. I'm not too worried about the Comm Tower falling, I should be able to defend it myself.

No pressure ![smile smile](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/smile2.gif) What if both happen? That isn't entirely facetious either; I think I'm closer to beating Nyvelion than Bamboozle is to beating Fenn (both because of Victory March and because there aren't many Infantry in range of Fenn's HQ), but I'd be much more scared of a two-tower Javier in the center than a Sami with all her troops stuck in the west.

Then I think we win. Bamboozle breaking Fenn's line is really bad, sure- 2 Tower Javier is very dangerous. Fenn will still be able to form a new line around his HQ though. You breaking Nyvelion's line means capturing all of her properties, which is much more significant. You'll have around 40,000 in daily funding, a very defensible position, and will be able to slam into AB with more than he can possibly handle, assuming Fenn can continue to hold his HQ (and between his units and my reinforcements, I think he can).
Sorry that we're sort of asking you to carry us here :P Our opponents have put most of their energy in knocking out Fenn; we've been focusing largely on our own individual fronts, so the person doing best on theirs ends up being our greatest hope for winning- which means our game is riding on you.

To be fair, the main reason I've been able to go through Nyvelion is because she's been sending units towards Fenn (along with putting all those units on the land bridge that are doing almost nothing right now), so that works

I see Nyvelion takes the same care in sending press messages that she does in playing her turns:
It's abundantly obvious that you haven't cared about this game for a long while, given that you can't be bothered to spend even 10 min. every other day playing your turns. I'm not surprised though that you'd rather abandon the game now that things aren't going entirely your way, that'd certainly represent the AWBW ethos.

Why is she angry? The fairly tame "please play faster" request?

I assume it's a combination of that (I haven't sent any other messages) and CH roughing up her troops pretty bad. AWBW has plenty of honorable, stalwart players, but there's also much less of a taboo against "flipping the table" compared with RB. I've had a few 4+ player games ruined or prematurely ended by opponents resigning or otherwise tilting hard (to the point of deliberate self-destruction) once things aren't going their way. I don't expect people to necessarily fight to the last unit (although if you're at that point your turns will take only literally seconds to play), but AWBW def. has a certain culture of abandonment, where people feel free to drop games once they feel their chances of winning are dubious.
To be clear, I'm talking only about games with at least three players. Obviously people can abandon duels whenever they feel like it.
