I have to admit, I failed to give peace a chance as I promised. But as Sun Tsi says "If you want peace prepare to war"

Seems like my distracting dance with an axe worked and resulted in this.


Can anyone tell me what was the purpose of keeping axe on the hill like that? Didnt they notice workers? If they were paying attention they could see my horses... Their scout appeared on the hill near my city and they definitely could see extra hammer on the city tile.

I cant explain how could they bring scout to the other side of my empire though. Are they close to circumnavigation?

After killing that axe I found that archer is still fortified on the cooper, though warrior was heading back to the city. I decided to kill archer because in the city it can bring me more troubles.


Weird sight...

Are you seriously second half of the turn there and unless they are lucky in having units coming out gonna take both those cities?!

In fact they declared me first on like T7.

My plan was to raze the city on cow only. I am not sure what to do now. They have 4 cities, I am not ready to capture them all unless they continue playing like that.

Hope there was something coming to their cap, or it is not interesting. I am pretty sure they couldnt build anything because they double whipped that axe and spent overflow on granary, but something could be behind the city.

What?? No! The closest thing Civ4 has to war trophies is to leave your captured cities with their original names, so that they stick out like a sore thumb when others read your city list.

+150gold for both cities. How do I feel about it? I feel sorry for ruining one's game. But if you dont want to be disappointed you must keep your eyes open. Casual game... yeah but normally I do not reveal my plans 1 turn before attack like this time when I put workers on hill.

I razed Shanghai because it was on cow, I know it is stupid, but I couldnt stand the whole game knowing about this issue.

StarDoor, Shaka of Arabia is very close, I really wonder where is wetbandit/ipecac's last city? Is it on some island again? I must care about this new neighborhood. But I will have better picture in a few turns probably.

According to the demographs, the lowest power has 30k soldiers. If it is wetbandit/ipecac it means they have only archer and warrior. They havent whipped their new cap this turn but they could have something from chopping. Interesting....
