*A4 said that DIM would meet us this turn. Hasn't happened yet.
*Upped research to 100%.. pottery in 3.
*We are #1 GNP this turn.

I just logged into game to have a look. I realized that we could still get pottery in three turns if we switch Lakewood from a lake to the rice. That would speed up the worker by two turns. I think we should do that, considering it doesn't slow down our teching.

What do you think (I'm just going to keep the game up. If I don't here back from you before the last person to play logs in, I am just going to have us switch).

EDIT: I actually wound up logging out of the game (I left it currently working the rice)

Thanks for checking on that. It didn't even occur to me, but it's very fortunate that we can get pottery in 3 turns while working the rice.

Couple quick notes still along the lines of inlaws are here not much time:

*Jordan attacked by bear. Survived but down to .6 health. Move NW to evade a nearby lion. Next turn will promote to C2 (or medic?), and then move back to the forest to heal for a turn or two.
*Met DIM 2NE of Boring. They brought a warrior, Tricky Dicky to the party. They have 2 cities, the second one is called Midas' Folly. Everyone has gold for second city?
*Sent e-mail to A4 warning them that we had seen a barb warrior. Will send generic greeting to DIM and another note to A4 letting them know we have met and moved EP away from them.
*Ended Turn as domestic progress is right on track.

What after pottery? Hunting for camps/leads to archery? Writing? Mysticism for border pops?

I would lean mysticism>>>hunting>>>writing but haven't looked closely, so I could be way off.

I'd like to see how long it would take to research writing vs. myst to make a choice. We are going to want libraries in our two cities that currently need a border pop, so I slightly lean towards writing, unless that would take too long. On the other hand, horses city won't need a library most likely, so I'd prefer myst for it. Tough choice, let's see how long each will take.
