Potential dotmapping. I think a choke city on the west landbridge has to on a hill for defensive purposes. Now this does leave a potential city site E of lake claims for RMOG but is it worth to plant this choke city on flatland? I don't believe so but I do welcome other thoughts on this. If we decide that we are going to plant on the hill, even a harder question is to where to plant the bananas city. the NW B site grabs jungled rice but can't share iron for production. the B? site obviously will be slower starting but can share the mines for production for something like settler building. The site 2E of rice actually should be 1S to grab the ivory 2S of rice, but I feel that this is going to be a pure filler city and not a high priority. In the south I think the city site on the plains horse tile is controversial but it can steal bananas from capital to grow while there are no food tiles in the vicinity, and it has 3 forests in the BFC that we can use to chop and slave a settler out. However, the more lush land is probably to the north and that we really should focus our attention there. Regardless, I fear that the capital needs to slave a lot more settlers than I expected...
BTW RMOG also has jungled fish so this is intentional. Surprised that NC has the top CY, but ours should be better when we grow cap to 3 and finish improving the pig.

Did we mess-up our opening? Not happy that we are now lagging NC and mack. On the other hand, looks like we have a good chance to win circumnavigation if this is available since most teams are building warriors early on.

Bleh to lack of trees in the north. Why couldn't jungle also give 30Hs... I really need to reconsider placement of cities 3 and 4. I really don't think I should plant next to whales since that city need to run SMethod scientists and therefore need at least surplus 8food. In fact I should send the settler from the 2nd city to grab the clams and deer and the settler from the capital to the double bananas city. This is because the 2nd city with the capital need to start pumping settlers, not run scientists after lib.

I believe that NC has the high GNP and the top CY (Baray OP?) and I am guessing he is researching Nationalism. Now I do wish that I SIPed the capital but there was no way to now that the 2nd city site would have triple food in the BFC. Oh well I will have to leverage what I can.

For a fact I now know that they started running scientists on T197, which means their GS will be due on T205 assuming this is a pure GS. This was the estimated GS timing we found when ipecac did his sim using Mackoti's spi/fin. Then they would need a 2nd GP to start a golden age to speed up lib research, which requires 1,168 raw beakers. I am kind of doubtful that they can do this since even with 4 cities during my sims, I was struggling to get to 100b/t and looks like they plan on staying at 2 cities.

Annoyingly RMOG is still spending all EP on us so I had to split EP 3 to 1 on T200. C&D says Mack definitely 3 whipped his capital for a settler I assume. Surprisingly, I think NC+REM have the top power, but they have 6k unaccounted for besides the warrior we saw.

Massive whipping from NC+REM. I guess it was not a liberalism push? Don't think it could be a settler 3 whip in cap since they were only at size 6 for 3 turns and chopped only 1 tree but could be wrong. I do believe that it is not a good idea to spam settlers without adequate worker support but I could be wrong again.
