It is a Potion of Air Bubble...you're not quite sure what caster level. Two or three minutes of air...

The post can definitely be used to anchor the rope ladder.

The narrow gravel beach is some fifty or sixty feet below. In the low and shifting light of the aurora, not much is visible besides the white breakers and the dark stains of thick moss on the rocks.
If only you and me and dead people know hex, then only deaf people know hex.

Anya asks Niall, "Could there be a cavern down by the beach that connects to where the platform leads ?"

Should I do a "knowledge (geography)" check ? Or more appropriately should Niall ? Or do we need to go down the rappel line and check directly ?

Seems to make sense to secure the rope ladder here now. I think we then try the platform way down, but I would feel happier knowing we have an alternate way of getting back up should it be needed
