The server was having issues before the reboot, in a way that Caledorn said is indicative of an out-of-memory issue. This issue can cause corrupted save files. Therefore, I've reloaded saves at what should be a safe point back in time, roughly a day ago from the timestamp of this post.
This will result in some turns needing to be replayed, please check CivStats to see if you need to replay any of your turns.

How likely are we to be able to get a replacement? I think slim given it would be a massive undertaking, and the game has a lot of spoiled parties. I don't know what to suggest for the best here. I think a replacement is very unlikely at this point.
Based on the turnpace and interest level, I feel like the game should be called. Any opinions from other players?
