But honestly I don't get how they can afford to expand like that since I really need all 6 workers now to build improvements in existing cities now to ensure the liberalism EOT216 and make sure the old cities can continue to generate settlers by working mines.

Our position honestly is bad even though we are surely going to get lib. Mack just settled his 6th and I'm sure his capital will produce a settler for his 7th before we can plant our 5th and 6th cities. I just hope it is not toward our double rice city. His workers at the front likely improving the horse and iron but I am moving the longbow in position already. Maybe we should have delayed lib until T226 and whip 2 settlers instead on T216 but who knows how much mack was serious about liberalism.
