Hi, I just bought XCOM 2 while it was on sale.
Anyone else got it and interested in playing a succession game?
Probably Classic difficulty (or whatever is the XCOM 2 equivalent), and we play one mission at a time. Ironman of course.

Which dlc is required? Also, how good do you need to be to play?
Surprise! Turns out I'm a girl!

Not sure. I bought the Deluxe Edition so I think I have all of it, but we can roll without DLC if someone doesn't have it.
No skill level requirements. Disasters only enhance the gameplay
FTR I haven't played XCOM 2 yet (though I've seen some gameplay) and I can handle Enemy Unknown on Classic.
We can bump or lower the difficulty depending on our roster skill, like if we get many newbies or many hardcore long war maniacs.

I may sign on as a lurker, but I have 2 reservations about joining.
1. Not sure I have the time to do this and PB35 together, I might be tempted though...
2. I never got the DLC (nor do I plan to), but I did manage to get all 50 original steam trophies. Because of this I fear I know exactly all the right moves and will criticize mistakes too harshly. That was 6 months ago though so I've probably forgotten a bit.
IMO XCOM2 isn't that hard if you know what you're doing (below Legend difficulty at least). If you don't know what you're doing however it is brutal, doubly so with Ironman (it's all in good fun though).
BTW, the difficulties are Rookie - Veteran - Commander - Legend. Would not recommend a Legend Ironman game ever, but Veteran and Commander are both doable.

Personally I would love to have you around. Critique is welcomed! It's up to you if you can handle a SG where you might be the one fixing the leaks
We'll probably have a lax pace after the initial excitement dies down. At least that's how I've envisioned it.

Alright then, I'm happy to hang around and give advice.
I may even play the occasional mission or two.

You could switch to an exhibition game with key decisions made by the peanut gallery
