Anya uses "detect magic" to understand what the dwarf is doing

I can't find a way in the rules to attack with the butt of my weapon in order to do non-lethal damage. Is there something I'm missing as to how I'm meant to do it, or will I need to punch him if I want to knock him out.

You can take -4 to deal nonleathal with the flat of your blade; he is flatfooted.

Anya doesn't see anything magical at all about the dwarf.

I try and hit him, attack roll is 4 + 6 - 4, so 6. Sorry team, the dice have finally betrayed me.

Nat 20 + 4, seems like the dice are apologising. I'm going to hit him for real next time.
