If you look at the overview of our lands, you'll notice that us and Aztecs are a bit pushed north compared to India and Rome on our sides. My speculation is that the fifth civ (17 start, 4x4 rows would add to 16) is placed south of us. That error MIGHT be from teams moving before settling though so this isn't 100% confirmation to that.

I think the map wraps from north to south and vice versa (toroidical? I don't really remember what it's called..). Then it'd make sense that there's actually two deserts as described above.

I also think France might have went quite alot northeast at the beginning, it took them 3 or 4 turns to settle. That'd explain why none of tech bloc rejects have met him yet.

Looking at the sides, they're pretty balanced both on numbers and civ experience. If tech bloc rejects get France, then we'll be the one who's going to give one or another side the advantage. However if go with the rejects, then we can choke Ruff which will give us even more advantage, more like 2 person advantage rather than 1.

Gotta remember that the civs in each side are not 100% confirmed. Like us, there could be others who could go either way.

There's not much we can decide by looking at the positions yet, but one thing is that if we side with the original tech bloc, then we'll have Rome next to us as opponents who are going to soon have Iron Working. However if we go with rejects, Rome would be on our side and Aztecs are already under our control.

And this is why I didn't go with our majority rules. From exploits e-mails it sounded way more fun to be part of the "reject" side then the hydra...Thinking about it more and more, I have no interest in having agg rome next to us when we're so backwards already. I'm thinking sticking with the rejects will probably be more fun, and better in the short term.

This is going to be fun. We'll just wait on Jowy to confirm and we need to come up with a decent plan here...

Just a note...in about 30 min I will be basically unavailable for anything until probably when you guys are hitting the hay. If you want to start the diplomacy in telling ruff and the hydra to buzz off and put our feet firmly in the camp of the rejects then by all means go ahead. Or if you want to go the other way as well it won't matter to me.

If you want to leave that to me I don't mind as well, however please give me some ideas so I have something to go on...

I'm OK with either option. I think I'd go with rejects if I had to choose. However it's you two who've been handling most of this game so we should do whatever you two want. I'll just chip in now and then, and I'm 100% OK with that part

Ok, decision made, we go with the rejects.

Now we have to do two things:

1. Get a good deal with the Rejects, telling them our part in the sceme of things and tell them we can contribute to research later on but not much now since we're doing the war for them as well.

2. Tell Ruff that the attack will commence AFTER T58. Remember, we signed a NO PILLAGE NO KILL deal for T58. Besides that, we need to thank Darrel for all his work (and maybe ask him to change sides ).

Now, we can get 6 axes easily. If we change Kiwi to an axe and whip after growth (overflow will go into the Terrace), order another Axe in JANK after the Terrace and whip again after growth. With two terraces, and enough food around, we can keep whipping for some time to get enough axes/quecha's to do the job.
