Ruff appreciates our offer, but thinks it would be better if we went ahead and met other nations. I moved Pizarro east towards Rome.

I have sent an email to France asking them for a chat. Let's see what/if they reply...

Sounds good. I will remember to keep some fingers crossed today. My ideal is actually that the lion does attack but we win with more than 1 strength left. That way we get the XP and can reheal quickly.

Bah, I haven't been able to check ingame this morning because the turn still hadn't rolled over (Inca ended their turn with like 30 minutes to spare).

I'll send an email to Dazed asking him to check, so I can stop eating my Bic...

Krill increased score by 12. I first thought he had already finished Oracle, but then I realised he would get a score increase from Alphabet as well. I'm guessing he got land points from his holy city and a tech.

All day, i've been hoping that Dazed has been pulling our leg, but this doesn't seem the case... smile

Ok I suggest we finish the worker in DIM, and have that one and Stakhanov continue their assigned moves. I'll have Marx and Sysiphus pull back to DIM and have them chop a forest each. This should allow us to 2-pop whip a settler in about 4-5 turns.

Come on guys, Aztec will be crippled for the rest of the game, yet he'll keep on playing. I agree that losing our settler was tough, but it's not like the game is finished here. We're still in a strong position diplomatically, and if we can hold off France in the near future, we should be good.
