I got a GE and had a hard choice between bulbing machinery (for a quicker guild) or rushing the mids. After a long consideration I decided that, being spiritual, the mids were probably better.

I need monarchy -> feudalism -> machinery -> guilds for phracts, but I think I'll use a GE for machinery (70% chances of getting one soon).

Just built the colossus. I'm considering going for the great lighthouse next but I'm not sure it's worth it. Maybe I should just build wealth in most cities. Probably. Just after the round of lighthouses is done, they're too important now that I have the Colossus.

Of course T75 is THE turn where my demos are crap compared to the others...




But this is with 2 players being in a golden age, and at 0% research with no wealth builds. I'll give you that my economy is crap, but it'll get better with my new 2/0/3 coast tiles.

Second GE was born this turn (with 70% chances, stupid oracle prophets made me anxious all this time). Machinery will be bulbed next turn. I think I just need 2t to get feudalism now, and then it's guilds. I already have barracks and stables in my most productive cities, so with Vassalage my phracts will be 7xp right from the start

Today I bulbed machinery and finished the great lighthouse. Why would I build so many wonders, do you ask ? Well because having wonders is what I like best about civ It's probably a mistake in this case, even though this + colossus will fuel my economy for the time being.

Despite losing about 80 raw production on a banned great lighthouse I think I'm doing fine. I'll get into vassalage next turn, and will start on guilds. Maybe 6t until it's done ?

I don't understand why we banned the great lighthouse. Without ICTR it's literally 2 commerce per coastal city (so not all of them). I think it's worse than the colossus
