IIRC the espionage slider only shows up when you meet someone(and your EPs can go somewhere).
If no espionage was on then the EPs from the capital would be giving culture, I just checked and that isn't the case.
What was the final call on the AP? I've been assuming no voting but buildable but checking the settings thread it's quite unclear.

Also wanted to mention that barb holy cities are not supposed to be razed.
I think we should pause when the timer gets low but players should make a good faith effort to let the rest of us know when they will have trouble making the timer. Emergencies can happen however and this is not always possible. I'd hate for the game to be decided by someone missing a turn and pausing is easier than reloads. If someone is abusing this or constantly slowing the game down we can take some form of action.
Sorry about that. I did not know in advance that I would be unable to meet the timer. My time for play was early the day before and late that day. Thanks for pausing.
I think the current speed of 1-2 turns per day is really good. I agree with TBS that unless someone is late a lot, pausing for others is fine.

Sorry for any hold-ups. It seems like we are in different time-zones or schedules. The turn always seem to roll during the night here in Sweden. I play mornings and evenings and if I have time I check in early afternoon.

hi y'all, i'm traveling this week and just found out that my internet access will be much spottier than i was expecting. it might still be ok, but we'll see. i'm gonna ask krill if he can cover for me, but if not i'd appreciate it if someone could pause if I'm not around for the turn roll. i will always try to play as soon as i can!
