Corporations aren't banned apparently, so I just got mining inc with my GE. It means positive gpt probably (due to the HQ being in my wall street cap for +200% gold) and +9h per city in which I bring it. Potentially +11 if I stop selling my extra gold and silver.

Any possibility of churning out commandos to add to their inherent blitz? Most beautiful combination ever.

I'm neither agg nor cha so I need 26 xp to get commando. With west point + barracks + vassalage + theocracy I can get to 11, which is way too far unfortunately.

I have several choices now. Dreylin built Broadway, which would make sense if he wants to go for a CV, but I'm rather surprised by that. I want to go towards space (I'm currently researching rocketry for Apollo) but I think I want to detour towards biology/medicine to help with my health/food problems. On the other hand Dreylin is already researching radio to go towards satellites and/or the last tier of units, so a detour might cost me the game.
I also have the possibility of stopping all research and upgrading my units to the latest stuff (just for my main stack in the west that would cost me >3000g). I need to stop delaying that choice and be more decisive if I want to win.

I found a way to alleviate my health problems without going all the way to medicine : going for ecology (and recycling centers that cancel all the unhealthiness from buildings). It's on the way to the space victory so it's less of a detour.

Interesting how the morale blow of losing your capital is always a lot stronger than the actual blow to your power/production/science output. I feel sorry for Pickle, too bad my fleet was not in position to flank Dreylin's beat up fleet this turn to capitalize on this.

I think I'm winning now. My corporation is giving me a huge edge in production (and I have a slightly better research rate too). Unless I make a major mistake (still very possible) I think I can cruise this to victory.
Next stage in my grand plan : 3 gorges dam will be finished in 2t, and recycling centers will be arriving on time to help with the unhealthiness. Then it's spacepart building, and also military builds (I think I'll have modern armor long before anyone else so I won't have much to fear on that front).

3GD finished, some recycling centers also finished, and after the cap finishes its recycling center it'll build the first spaceship part.

I have a plan to strike Dreylin if he goes after a cultural victory seriously. I think my land army is better than his, but he probably has a better navy, and he has many peripheral cities that are lightly defended where my tanks can cut through.

Dreylin founded the ethanol corporation (which I find amusing considering he works for an oil company). His GNP grew past mine for the past few turns, which worries me. He now has two of the +50% culture wonders (in addition to sistine chapel), so he's probably going for CV. Unfortunately I don't know which 3 cities he's going to use yet, because Pickle is still in front of him on the victory screen.
