I played perhaps my favorite style of 4X game: Pure peaceful techer, trading and NAPping with everybody, putting everything into research and most of my research into ways of improving my research economy. I actually thought about winning a diplomatic election just to prove it could be done, but in the end, it would have been too tedious, and not really fair for comparison purposes ... so I went Mr. Hyde on the galaxy and won a 2643 extermination victory.
