Either that or if it's easy to do, added the parenthesis after raw power like there is for skill, but it's surely not worth it working a lot for that.

Bug report
Put a djinn in a boat. Make the djinn patrol. The boat can now go over any terrain as if wraithform.

I don't think that's a bug. As long as it's limited to the windwalkers movement?

Instead its s problem of ships. They always transport everything in their square unless they are in a city; then they don't transport the patrolled units.

So even though your djinn is on patrol, the ship will transport it. Since the djinn is a windwalker, it carries the ship over terrain.

But the windwalker's movement is not used when it's on patrol, only the boat's MPs are... Looks like a bug to me. Way too exploity.

Changing this would probably be too hard if possible compared to what is actually does (if you have a windwalker you can carry units on land even without the ship so it's not a big deal. Also it's easy to make a ship fly if you really want to.)

And yes, doing 'ship followed by windwalker' or even 'ship followed by more ground movement' is a known issue, and unfixable due to how ship transport works.

Edit: seravy, might want to put ship movement plus other movement into the 'known but unable to solve' list.

Ship followed by ground movement is a feature, since when is that a bug? At least I don't remember reading "units can't move after leaving a ship" as an intended game rule anywhere.

No, we're talking about a speed 3 unit being carried by a ship 4 squares, then moving on its own another 3 squares in the same turn.

Yes, that's how it's supposed to work unless there is something written anywhere in official texts that says "carried units lose movement points". But considering they are set to patrol automatically (not in the mod as it's annoying when a unit tries to walk through a ship and gets caught), I think it's obvious the intention there was to force not spending the movement points.
Whether that makes sense or not, is a different story.

Oh. I thought when we discussed ship -> windwalker to go 10+ squares per turn you had said that was a restriction based on ship movement.
