RBP3 [SPOILERS] Team Nice Shot - Pacal of Carthage

Notes sent. Now, again, just waiting for the turn to roll... dumdeedum...

I was in game while it rolled =)

By the way, I actually did a bit more thinking about Boring: if we were to chop this turn, it would take a further 6 turns to slow build the settler (so it would complete t84 I believe). What if we were to instead build the mine, which would take three turns (which is perfect, as the city grows in three turns). Therefore, it would only take 4 turns to slow build after that. Also the whip anger runs out in 4 turns, so what we could actually do is mine chopper first, then put chops/whips/copper mine hammers into the settler and get it completed in the same exact amount of time. At least to me, that sounds better.

I logged out of game so you could have a look.

Okay lurkers - Novice (are there any others?), did you enjoy our Hanging Garden discussions a couple pages back? Now I finally know how it feels on this side smile

Had a chat with England, by the way.

Well, the big news from this turn's diplo work is that the Ottomans evaded our offers of an NAP extension. First they changed the subject, and then they just stopped responding. Looks like t91 or so sparks shall fly.

If they are silly enough to let us, we should try to get a unit into their lands to find where their new cities are before war starts.

Wow, what awesome timing... Right after I posted that, they come back, say "sorry, was afk" and accept to t100. I still don't buy that we're safe beyond t100.

Mr. Nice Guy, you should probably have a look at both of the chats with England, as well as the one with the Ottomans. Some important stuff about the alliance breakdown and war declarations.

If any of the lurkers want me to post the chats, I can (just let me know).

Read them and was reading as they were happening. Would have been on MSN but it's been hectic here... the baby is having a tough time accepting bed. All looks great though. I will comment more after work tomorrow, I am too tired to comment this evening.

Ok, sounds good. I'm going to send a quick response off to Krill about the worker's position before I go to sleep.
