My breaker flipped and I lost power while playing my turn. I had already ended turn and civstats shows me logged out so things should be ok.
[TECH] Pitboss 38 IT and Tech Issues Thread

Dreylin seems to have had a similar issue...
If only you and me and dead people know hex, then only deaf people know hex.
I write RPG adventures, and blog about it, check it out.
Hey chucklehead brothers, notice what time it is?
*suggestively eyebrows towards the clock, which points to PYFT O'CLOCK* Snap snap.
Wut? Pssshaww. Still have 5 hours.
Turn played. I did mean to play before work this morning but forgot. Just Xenu now and he usually gets home from work ~45m from now. I got a new job, the commute is an hour drive each way which makes playing turns at any time of the day much more difficult. I now have evenings after the little tyrant is banished to the shadow realm for the night in bed free to PMFT. Note: Joey has been added to a list. Played: Pitboss 18 - Kublai Khan of Germany Somalia | Pitboss 11 - De Gaulle of Byzantium | Pitboss 8 - Churchill of Portugal | PB7 - Mao of Native America | PBEM29 Greens - Mao of Babylon
I took liberty to pause the game for Plako and Superdeath with 40 minutes on timer. I think, we are past the point where people can afford losing turns. It only makes more important for everyone to PYFT or, at least, not be silent about being unable to do it.
Pauses should be a last resort. I've asked for a lurker to play for Superdeath. If there is no password in his thread then we should let the turn roll.
Completed: RB Demogame - Gillette, PBEM46, Pitboss 13, Pitboss 18, Pitboss 30, Pitboss 31, Pitboss 38, Pitboss 42, Pitboss 46, Pitboss 52 (Pindicator's game), Pitboss 57
In progress: Rimworld
password is in thread, i just bought a house, so now that that is over ill be GTG till the end.
"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."
-Old Harry. PB48.
Congrats on the house. I'm glad for you that is over with. For everyone, if you know you can't get to the turn just communicate and ask for a lurker to play. With 25 players it is likely that someone could need a pause nearly every turn. We need a process to keep the game moving along smoothly until we get to later on when wars and actual decisions need to be made. Until this point I strongly recommend we refrain from pauses. Just let a lurker play and we will keep the turn moving along.
