Dark Savant needed a bit more time to think about joining in or not.
Okay, I can say I'm in now, seeing as how I was just eliminated early in PB38.

Ouch, that was tough luck in PB 38.
I`m glad that you`re joining us in the next game, though. We have been discussing settings a bit. Do you have any strong preferences?
As we are at 7 players now, it`s probably time to ask for a mapmaker to step forward. Is there anyone out there who would like to help us out? As soon as we have a mapmaker I think we`re closing the sign-ups.

There was one awful mistake I made there, but even with that, a lot still had to go wrong for that to happen at all.

Pretty much anything goes, really. You could roll a map at random and it's unlikely I'll have ... that ... happen again.

"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

Added. The majority wants to play with Rtr mod so yes, pretty close to the settings of PB 38. I do have a couple of questions to all players:
Should we enable map trading or not?
Also, we need to decide on a pick method. My preference is a snake pick in this kind of small Pitboss. What do you guys think?

No map trading until Paper (like in vanilla)
Prefer picking from random combinations, but don't particularly care. A snake pick just requires more thinking

I would prefer the same settings as PB38.

Same here.
I would prefer snake pick, but I can also live with random combinations.

If we decide to allow map trading we need to use the 2.0.8.3 mod instead of the 2.0.8.4 mod used in PB 38.
