So it doesn't look like the dog is sitting around. But trying to settle the city still felt too risky to me so I'm going for the rice spot instead. Also note Dreylin has an archer with a promo, confirming a barracks in his second city. His wheat is still unhooked though.  crazyeye Anyway both are falling a bit behind, probably due to these unneccessary military builds so I guess I shouldn't worry too much about potentially missing some of the resources. If I have options to conquer later that should be fine. The selected warrior is heading west to confirm superdeath's location but I'm going to work under the theory that he's just outside the fog for the moment.

So, my next city priorities are:
-back to the wheat/stone spot - Cubelock can build this.
-the horses spot - I could use something to deal offensively with dogs, probably Dude Paladin can supply it. Need to think does this go on the better plains hill spot or coastal. I currently only have 1 coastal city planned and there's still quite a decent chance that there's a lot of land overseas.
-island city - not sure where it will come from but that will be my 8th city so a pretty decent commerce boost.

Everywhere should finish up their granaries next(all at size 1!) and the capital will grow to whip a library and work flood plains and a pair of scientists. It can supply archers for defense as it grows.

Instructions for next turn:

Cubelock - work pigs, TURN ON AVOID GROWTH, build warrior.
worker- farm corn.

Dude Paladin - Build granary on two improved tiles.
worker - chop forest S of copper.
Settler - move to this forest also.
2 warriors - use your best judgement based on where the barb warrior is. He was 1 NW of the mountain this turn.

Razakus - whip granary

Inner Fire - Put a turn into an archer
workers - farm rice, unless his dog soldier moves closer, in which case go to chop a forest. Dog soldier is currently on the T48 sign.
2 warriors -  can just fortify in inner fire I guess, unless something changes.

Warrior in the NW - can't remember his exact position, stick to defensive terrain and move generally west to find superdeath.

Tech - save gold on writing.

Thanks!

2nd time I lose a 75% roll this game. Let's just hope we don't lose a third.  please

I also got double moved by superdeath's dog in the west. Can't really blame him for it given the current stage of the game but it stops me exploring west unless I was able to double move him back. On the bright side it meant his dog didn't try poke at my new city.

3rd combat of the game, this time *only* 70% odds, 3rd loss.

Not to mention the first warrior only got 1 hit in, the odds should have been a lot better than 70%.

Dreylin also built Henge, it's not in the capital, so it must be here. I'm going to lose the silver until I build a library and pop 3rd ring borders. I also lose the plains hill on the diagonals long term, but fortunately it's a hill so he can't instant road it. If he does try road it I've probably got to take that as a war declaration. I could use some G2 units to make it easy to pillage the tile.

Bad combat luck in the early game sucks. If you win, you get experienced units that are more likely to win the next fight; if you lose, hammers that would have accelerated the snowball instead have to be sunk into replacement units.

Your city names are triggering. lol

Just because I've watched a fair bit of Day[9], you should name one Snow Clones.

There is a meme whenever Day9 shows up on reddit, he's always playing bad decks and having fun. Snow Clones is such a Day9 deck if ever I saw one. The theme is popular deck archetypes but I can't turn down the only lurker request I've had.
