I'm reading! I'm globally lurking and only popping in occasionally, so my input is limited. (Don't feel comfortable giving my opinion on things like civic swap timings or pink dot up & downsides.) Lurkers lurk; we are light- and noise-averse. But we're here. Some wizened RB hands have accumulated a peanut gallery, but generally if you flip through recent threads, the majority of players sound like they're talking to themselves, only to find out from the global lurker thread after the game that they have not been so invisible.
Pan-seared. Only seasoning you should need is salt and pepper.

From what i have simmed/thought out, ill have city #3 planted on turn 41. ill have 4 workers by then, AH done, and fishing soon to be done. 1-2 warriors, should be moving to hook up resources before pushing out another 2 settlers. i have graphs on yuri, and will for some time.. and have swapped to putting EP into JR4. My warrior is currently shadowing their scout/ heading to the third city location to keep the path safe. Having creative borders pop 5 turns after planting a city is so nice. Not a whole lot of happy to go around at the start, so Cha pulls some weight.
Looking at my 2nd city, its a pure ( in my eyes ) production city. Crabs, deer, a eventually farmed flood plains, and it can steal wheat away from the 3rd city if it needs to, then it has a bunch of hills :D. 3rd city is a ton of food, for great scientists/whipping. Thinking of settling 4th city either in the south, or towards Yuri. all depends on what my scout see's him doing with his settlers.

What in your opinion, is the greatest MMO ever made?
EverQuest imo.

-- Well, turns out Yuri expanded towards me with his first settler.... quite far from his cap imo. Im going to be...first? to 3 cities on turn 40 when i plant on the hill to the east of Doug Stanhope
-- Now, knowing that we all likely started with copper ( and i can see it in his cap's borders ) im very likely to find spearmen/axe's thrown at me if i settle towards him with an aggressive site.. well thankfully war chariots are cheap, and by the time i settle my 4th city i hope to have some horses hooked up .
-- chopping out another 2 workers, then working on another settler is the plan, unless someone sends a load of axes/ect at me. i plan to keep a lead in Land, and food. production if possible, and gnp ill just steal from others...

Turn 44-
Been just chugging along.. got 5 workers, 3 cities, 1 warrior currently. Going to be pumping out 2 more warriors or so and then another 2-4 cities before currency hopefully. Then its time to shine with war chariots.. hit someone that hasnt Quite made enough spears...
Plan is to expand towards Yuri on 2 city spots, then plant a city to the south-east. Plan is basically to not get boxed in, and instead, do the boxing in. more cities, less problems.

I have a settler due in 3turns or so, followed by a war chariot for extra security. ( chopped out ). im planting close to Yuri first, to get my end of the culture war going.. if i simmed in my head right, i should always have vision on his city once my borders pop.. and likely the same for him. Once i know ive secured the Yuri border, i plan on spamming out settlers, my workers are going to, even with pottery due next turn, run out of stuff to do...
dont know how many neighbors they have both found, but with me knowing only JR4, and Yuri.. i split my ep to both of them. I already have their graphs, and they will likely lose my graphs. Although.. i dont entirely know if i want to meet another neighbor.. maybe see if someone is to the south of me, and keep everyone else in the shadows.... yeah! plan is to turn scout back around and hope it doesnt get caught.
Minor update on things that have happened in the world, WilliamLP founded Buddhism, and im fairly sure due to the score jump built Stone Hedge. Yuri founded Hinduism, and im fairly sure it pops in the newest/lowest pop city, so it should have popped in the 3rd city by my scouts current location. A couple people have been whipping lately, maybe they are experiencing some rushed units? I should probably make myself less appetizing then..

Question for Lurkers-
Have you seen the Avengers- Infinity War movie yet? if so, is it worth going out and getting a movie ticket, or should i just wait for DVD. Thanks

Big turn 50-
not a whole lot going on, only met 2 people so i have an overwhelming amount of EP into both of them, seems JR4 is trying to stay in graphs so ill ease up on him and see if he stays where he is... Yuri on the other hand id love to see what he is researching.. i have a warrior scouting out to see if he has an axe or anything in range to deny my settler that im planting in the choke. It will be secured with a war chariot i have incoming, and ill further secure it down the road.. but i dont want mr hindu to catch me with my pants down. Im working on popping out another 2 settlers to join the one i have in-route, to bring me to 6 cities by... ( havent simmed ) 63ish. By then i should have a city with a library working some scientists for a academy for the cap.
JR4 moved a warrior to stand guard outside my city instead of a scout, after the granery whip i might grow on a War chariot/ chop the forest next to my city to prevent shenanigans..

Continuing to move my warrior/settler pair down to the chokepoint. War chariot pops out next turn, so should be safe to plant on turn 53.
Met wetbandit's scout to the west of Yuri, AGG/CHA Mongolia.. that's kinda scary. Hope he helps me chip away at Yuri down the road. Started putting all my EP into him to head towards graphs. JR4 isn't putting anymore into me, and Yuri i don't think is.
Plan is still to bumrush out another 3-4 cities before building too many units, saving the cities that i believe are backlines for last.

Nothing too terribly interesting. Yuri/wetbandit are putting 1 ep a turn into me. JR4 is staying where he is. No barbs entering my borders, but ive seen 2 enter Yuri's already.. makes me wonder how long i have... JR4's power is spiking a little bit, and with that warrior keeping watch for anything coming from me, im assuming he is to the east? dont know any other reason someone would leave a warrior there. should get copper hooked up and get a axe/spear pair in that city.
Also planning something exciting, stay tuned
