Plan #1 went off without a hitch. Planted city #4 in the chokepoint, and have a War chariot coming to back up the plant just incase.. got settler for city #5 popping in 2 turns, and city #6 settler about 8 turns after that. I plan on getting a couple more workers out of city #2/3 and continuing to snowball my land advantage into something a bit more... fun. EP continues to go into the mongols. Im also noticing that most of my cities will be on the coast, so possibly a GLH/Colossus build?
Curious who will try for the pyramids... i really hope its one of my neighbors.. Continuing to bring my scout back, hopefully he makes it... cheap fog busters are always needed.

Got a plan in place to swing me into the winners circle..
"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

Moved warrior to see into Yuri's city, only a single warrior guarding... tempting.

well im unofficially in a turn split with Yuri- ( i got the 2nd half ) as im very likely going to declare war next turn to get my scout through.. in home-front news my first barbarian is coming down from the north- A warrior! i have a War Chariot finishing in time to deal with that nonsense, then its back to settler/worker builds. Capital will eventually be doing the whole cottage thing, but for now i need it to be a settler pump. Doug Stanhope ( 2nd city ) is my military pump and will be for the foreseeable future. Both choke-point cities are great person farms/whipping every 10? turns due to the crazy amount of food there.
( Question for lurkers--- every 10 turns is when whip anger fades right? )
Also, Yuri founded another city blocking my scouts path/ near the choke.. and thats the reason i have to declare to get my scout through. Plan is to move my War chariot to a spot where he can threaten to take Bombay if he kills my scout. ( hell if i get hungry for blood i just might throw it at the warrior on a hill.. ) if he kills the scout, ill raze his city. Fair trade. I mean, its size 4, and working at least 1 or 2 non-improved tiles..

Spot where Chariot will move to, is the sheep. Scout plans on moving to the plains tile.

That's right. If you mouse over the whip button when you have multiple whip unhappys stacked, you can get the total number. So, if you mouse over and the tool tip says "unhappy for 21 turns," you have 11 turns left before your current whip unhappy expires.

My previous plan of having my War chariot stay 2w of Robin Williams, and just threaten to take a 88% fight for a hill city guarded by a single warrior, has been abolished, Yuri is guarding his slightly more southern city with a damaged axe. Moved WC to be able to cover both the scout if it gets attacked, and/or destroy that axe... and im not completely sure i dont wanna just raze that city anyway.. if i can get to his copper fast enough... ideas ideas.. in other news, my worker near JR4's warrior began the chop-cancel-chop-cancel micro to make sure it stays safe. ( removing that forest next to Bill Burr for obvious reasons ) in two turns, ill plant city #5.
George Carlin had to pause from settlers and workers to push out a WC to deal with the barbarian coming from the north. Doug Stanhope is currently chopping out a barracks before bringing some WC's out for defense/poking and then its going to pump nothing but workers for awhile.. on the same turn that i plant city #5, city #4 will expand its borders and i can re-locate the scouting warrior to defensive duties.
Writing is due in 2-3 turns, after which i will be spamming cheap libraries in the cities that can squeeze them in. Tech choice after writing is... a secret. Just know that its going to be wonderful.

Well Yuri decided to pull a derp, and executed my scout with his axe. My options at that point ( he also 2pop whipped something in Bombay... assuming either an axe, or more likely a spear. ) were A: Kill his axe with the chariot and then see if he had anything coming to reinforce his city/in range to kill my chariot across a river. or B: Guaranteed kill of his southern city, but also guaranteed death of the chariot ( or very very bad odds anyway.. ) I decided to go with option A as i felt that killing his city, but having lost a scout + chariot wouldn't have been worth it considering id now have an axe+ whatever from Bombay coming towards Robin Williams.
With that 2 pop whip, and a damaged chariot from killing the barb, i decided to halt settler production to whip out another chariot to go keep Robin Williams safe... Best case scenario is Yuri logs in, moves whatever he whipped from Bombay anywhere. ( actually hoping its not a chariot tbh.. ) Has nothing to immediately either kill my WC or defend his city, and i login and raze his city/offer peace. Worst case scenario- he has a spear on the tile 1w of his southern city, kills my WC flawlessly, and a chariot pops out of Bombay, and threatens Robin Williams.
Maybe im the one with flawed thinking here? But i would think, rather than risk a dead city/axe. Id maybe recognize that the scout was just trying to get thru? Maybe he thought i was going to just attack him with a couple chariots, and was just using the scout to see what he had? I honestly don't know, all i know is im not gonna go full bore-war against Yuri unless he starts sending stuff at me... but killing the scout in my eyes was still a pretty eh move.. idk, maybe more skilled players would have still killed the scout?

Decided i would try and keep our relations in better hands, and logged in and offered 10 turn peace. a scout for axe trade.. i would have rather just had the scout. ugh. we shall see his intentions next turn.

Planted my 5th city like a turn or something ago.. i havent kept up on the # of cities everyone has, but i think thats fairly fast. i got a round of workers coming soon, along with granaries/libraries in cities. currently saving money at 0% research towards math. Plan is to work scientists in 2-3 cities that will have an enormous amount of extra food. A quick academy is the plan, along with plenty of cities.. i hope to beat out the imp/exp players to most cities w/o crashing the economy.
The culture from Robin Williams will hopefully keep me aware of anything coming by land from Yuri. Likewise Bill Burr on the other choke will in about 30 more turns when its culture expands again. If the turns speed up again, i expect to be score leader/almost runaway in about 3 weeks. I should stay on course for that, so long as my neighbors find other people to be aggressive towards..
Louis C.K.- Not a super great comedian, but has some great bits.
