Gavagai asked for sub and as possible candidate I wanted to know whats the case. Unfortunately I cant reveal any details of what I posted, but I can promise that I didnt have intention to gain or give any advantage or spoil game for anyone. Just a post of bored man with lack of civ activity.

That's the kind of thing you do publicly in the sub thread. Or at least in PMs.

I don't think OT4E was intending anything sinister, but that is probably better handled by PM while he's still in the game.

Turn played and paused for Joey, 10:45 on the clock.  Sorry for so little time remaining, I didn't realize anyone was left to play until I'd already used an hour.

I don't know the all context around the OT4E / Gavagai situation but not viewing (let alone posting in!!) another player's thread is kind of the one big rule we have around here.  The honor system only works if everyone upholds it.  If we have concerns people are in threads viewing their opponents posts that kills the open reporting we have....  We all know this, come on!  I sort of get that Gavagai has expressed an interest in being replaced and that maybe things aren't going so well in Carthage right now so OT4E could possibly be the replacement at some point, but to avoid even the appearance of impropriety you should wait until you're no longer operating one civ before offering to sub for another at least in my opinion as a player (definitely not as the game admin though I suspect any admin would say the same thing and possibly a lot more).
