I encountered similar problems with other players during PB39, but not with everybody. Same players could succesfully join while I was in and I could join while they were. With others there was not way. Don't know if I'm the problem.

I just had trouble connecting while Coeurva was playing. Does anyone know a way to find out if I'm the problem?

ksystemlog shows multiple ufw blocks for 20:22 local time, which is when I played. Should be my mistake unless you didn't edit /etc/hosts (or whatever the Windows path is). Are you available for trying again? I'd shut off ufw to see if that solves the problem.

Preventatively paused for RFS-81 with ~2 hours left on the timer.

accidentally clicked into shallow_thought's thread. Didn't see anything but sorry!

Thanks for looking out for me! Turns played! (Took me a bit of googling to figure out how to unpause The Pause key on my keyboard, now who'd have expected that?)
EDIT: Replied to the wrong post, but you get the idea.

Good catch .
Just to note, I kind of enter an Internet black hole for 10 hours when I go to work at ~08:00 BST. So far I've easily been able to play a turn in the mornings, and accept that it will be a natural part of the game as and when turn-splits develop, but I could very well find myself needing this sort of courtesy if things fall at the wrong time.

I'm guessing but I think we all will have this problem sooner or later. In the past it wasn't a problem to shift 1 or 2 hours around in a turn split as long as you communicate your time problem in advance.

I must say the turn speed is amazing. When Superdeath has done his turn, I will have done 3 turns in one day.

Hello fellow players and their dedlurkers. From July 11th to July 22nd I will be on a trip away from home. I do not anticipate that this should be a problem for the game because I should still have internet access and time to play throughout my trip, but you should be aware that the turn pace will likely slow down and I may need some pauses. If the timer is getting low and I haven’t played, I would appreciate it if someone would pause for me, even if I haven’t requested it. Thank you.
