Why are half of your cities still disconnected from your trade network on the eve of setting the island? mischief

because the one thing i apparently lack in my early game... are workers. Id say by turn 85-90 ill have all of them connected smoke on the bright side, i can make some MP warriors!

Turn 86-

Eventful stuff. Rome built both the oracle ( awhile ago, and i presume got alpha with it ) and has also now got stonehedge. why someone like Charriu or Shallow didnt go for it, is beyond me. With an early gnp lead from alpha, plus... RFS opened borders with him, further increasing his income... ( wish i bordered RFS ) So, what is someone to do, to prevent rome from establishing an early gnp lead into roflstomp praetorians? No, really. what is someone to do? Ive pissed off Magic Science by razing his 2nd city very early in the game.. so any war i go into he will pounce i guarantee it. Shallow, if he isnt dieing from having a stupid amount of cities, can also pounce.

Im slowly recovering from not making enough workers for my cities, + being one of the leaders in city count. I finish Math eot and will be able to bulb alpha in 5-6 turns after that. Using build research, i plan on bum rushing to currency. With masonry right after for a try at the Great Lighthouse. ill have at least 5 cities that will get the extra $. My city that will be attempting it will have 5-6 math enhanced chops for it. Military wise, after masonry, im heading to Horsearchers and i "plan" on making.... alot of them. If i can prevent rome from taking the fort city i want to make over there, i should be able to run over Magic. Although, if rome gets attacked by magic or someone else, i dont mind taking some of their cities. I have room for fort city, another decent city between fort and my 2nd, and then possibly make it to the old barb city i razed.. Also Spiderman will be expanding borders eot so i "should" control those damn gems. If not, i dont mind taking on immortals.

Now, if you made it through all of that... or simply like to look at pictures instead alright , I present all of this :

Before i begin my turn(s) report.. i must say, alot of activity going on in Charriu-Rome-Lurker thread. Jeez if i knew the way to get lurkers to go nuts and/or comment on my thread was to declare a real war i would have done so already. cry Havent seen masterjason around, maybe next pitboss i can get a slightly more active dedlurker? alright  Overall my PB's here havent been too bad. PB38, full of some rather.... vicious neighbors, pb39 is ongoing, and this pb i hope to end up winning or coming in 2nd. Now, how am i going to do that? Well, you see, i have a fair chunk of land with 1-2 more cities to grab before going for someone's throat. Rome vs Charriu seems to be heating up, Shallow is at 10+ cities and likely not doing so hot with gnp, Magic is looking to backstab me with 100% certainty, RFS is in la la land likely letting others settle up on lands that really should have been his. I dont border RFS which sucks, cuz he would be dead in another... 20 turns if he was.

Magic i would love to attack because if i dont, he goes for my 2 border cities, which i cannot easily defend either if he is smart. Although i am hoping to plan a nice attack on him, via 2 galleys full of swords, + a hoard of horse archers that i plan to have in 25 turns or so if everything goes to plan.

Shallow is another player i could swing at, we have a fairly long border, his immortal's are a pain, but they cannot outrun my impi's. Would still need to wait for Horsearchers to take him efficiently.

Rome... Rome... Rome.... If he and Charriu continue their fight, eventually i could take his cities. However, he could then make peace with Charriu and just swing at me with his full preatorian might... not what im hoping for.

Overall, and im sure im the only one that thinks this... Id put myself, Magic, and Shallow in the top 3 atm. with rome and Charriu being right behind us. RFS somewhere in the garbage bin looking for a way out.

Have you read all of this? Great! Here are some pictures, in no real order this time.

At what point in the plan for world domination is connecting cities to your trade routes? Or double digit 100% tax income?

Well in 2 turns ill have a GS for alpha, which ill offer OB to someone, maybe even Magic? :P

Ill be bum rushing to currency then going from there depending on what the local situation is ( rome v charriu ) shallows border defenses, and Magics border.
