Got it on the second attempt  

The game started badly with us being camped bot by their mid and jungler, but in team fights the enemy team ignored me and we won easily despite being behind in gold.

Gonna play it safe and only play a few more ranked games this season. Doubt I'd fall back down but I don't really have a goal anymore anyway.

EDIT: didn't really want to make a triple post so I am going to edit this one. it's pretty sad for me but yesterday I got banned from league of legends after a bad game, I got really Mad because someone provoked me and as a result my account has been permanently suspended… I have been banned previously but it was over a year ago so I am insanely surprised that riot took it into account. Is it possible for me to get unbanned? I have browsed the web and everyone says that it is not possible to get my account back (this and this is what I read) but is it really possible that NO ONE EVER had their account unbanned?

Maybe any of you have heard about someone getting their account retrieved? And do unban websites really not work?

you probably know this already but somebody else "starting it" does not make it ok  for you to be toxic back

I have been banned previously but it was over a year ago so I am insanely surprised that riot took it into account. 

First of all, what you fail to understand is that the permaban is given because you were toxic AND because you had a 14 day ban recently 
there are 4 stages of punishment:
10 game chat ban
25 game chat ban
2 week ban
permaban
 the punishments are related to/ influenced by each other

Suppose this was your first time being toxic and you get a 10 game chat ban
if you finish your 10 game chat ban and you are toxic again, guess what? you don't get 10 game chat ban again! you get the next punishment in ascending order: the 25 game chat ban.
rince and repeat for the other 2 instances

you can by-pass the chat restrictions and get the two week ban right off the bat by being, racist, sexist, homophobic, by using words like “kys”, “nigger” or “autist” or by inting

Secondly, how regularly do you play? did you take a break since then? because when you get punished, the negative score you develop because of it can drop depending on your good behaviour. but it takes a while. 
You should also keep in mind that it's based on time elapsed while playing, not time elapsed. if you abandon the account for 1 year and then come back, the "negative score" will be exactly where you left it

Thirdly, it was stated in your 2 week ban notification that that would be your last chance and that any future incident of toxicity will result into a permanent ban. Next time try reading the notifications because ignorance is not a valid excuse

Fourth, for the negative score to go away, you need to be active in chat, but not toxic. If you go into every game with the "/muteall" tactic, you're demonstrating a refusal to communicate, not a refusal to be toxic. and there's a difference. will your toxic history diminish if you don't talk? sure. but it will go away at a much slower pace than if you were talking while not being toxic

5th, the honor system has doodly squat to do with the punishment system. Even if you managed to get honor 5 in that year, you shouldn't assume that you're gucci punishment system-wise

Your best bet is to open a ticket and ask support for another chance, as they’ve been known to do it once in a blue moon. But be polite, don’t insult, don’t antagonize them if they say no, don't threaten to sue, don't ask for nother opinion or a higher person in the chain of command(mostly because there is no such thing) and be respectful. Present your case. Apologise for losing your temper. The works! But try not to be annoying!

Keep in mind that they are more likely to say no than yes because if a punishment is justified, they usually never take it away. But you should try it nonetheless.

And do unban websites really not work?

I don’t know what those are but I’d suggest not putting faith in any website not belonging to riot

If anyone's still reading this thread, I'll mention that I've been getting back into the League of Legends scene over the past few weeks. I missed the team games from back in the day, and I've been having a lot of fun exploring what's changed and what hasn't changed in the time that I was gone. My old account was even still sitting around from before, and a lot of the skins that I had from 2010 and 2011 are now pretty rare. I've been posting new videos on my YouTube channel and streaming on my Twitch channel (linked in the signature of this post) for anyone who wants to take a look.

I also wanted to mention that I'm planning to bring back the custom night games again on Tuesday evenings (east coast North America time). The trial version of that will be starting this upcoming Tuesday night on January 8th at approximately 7:00 PM EST. If you're at all interested, I'd love to have some of the Realms Beyond group join. Custom games are a low-stress way to get back in the swing of things.

Watching your streams has been kinda relaxing after a long day.

There were 3 things which put me off LoL back in the days as I quite enjoyed the game. I think I played with vmark (Terror Incognita) quite a lot of games.

1.) Games took too long to setup in lane and the pregame phase took quite a bit of time.
2.) Toxic community, I remember listening to quite some ugly stuff, nothing has come close to this ever since or before (Neither WoW, Civ V MP with Germans and EUIV...)
3.) The distinct lack of development of the game. Still Summoner´s Rift, who cares about twisted treeline. No "real" new content like a genuine different 5vs5 map for instance (not the base system but map).

I would not get back into it before on of those things have changed a bit, but as I said, I enjoy to watch.:D

Glad you've been relaxing by watching some of the recent streams! I understand the various annoyances with League gameplay, and there's certainly no reason to start playing again if it's not going to be fun. For what it's worth, the gameplay has changed over the past few years to be much faster with shorter games, to the point where I think that the games are a little too fast now. And I might just have been lucky, but I haven't seen much in the way of poor behavior from the other players in my games since I came back. Maybe it's due to the fact that I've been playing Normal games instead of Ranked games, I don't know. There's a lot less talking in general these days; most people seem to communicate through pings for the most part.

Regardless, feel free to tune in or watch the recorded stream later. Tonight's event will start a little more than 12 hours from this post time.
