Galura's borders popped again. Very good this should secure the stolen tiles from Superdeath. Also to no surprise his golden age ended.
Hey I have the biggest city worldwide. Well at least I accomplished something in this game.
Unfortunately I will lose the NW tile from Forza next turn. I looked and Forza needs 12 turns for the border pop, which will secure the tile back to me. As you can see trebuchets are finished. I will wait for the third trebuchet from Galura and then I will move towards war position.
You can barely see it but Superdeath is getting more espionage. He probably built some courthouses already and will likely play similiar like in PB39 when it comes to espionage.
Cities:
Behold my big commerce city. Just one more tile and I'm working all of my commerce tiles. As you can see I'm finishing a wall. I know I should only build them, if I really need them. But right now I still have the stone and should I be under attack I can use the pop to whip more units instead of a wall. Also I will need them for castles.
Oh and as you can see my city is also the dirtiest city in the world. I will look into trading some health resources next turn.
Wing Raptor is keeping on unit production. As soon as Exdeath is maxed out Wing Raptor can take over the corn tile to grow even bigger.
Karlabos is back to working on great persons. With the next pop I will work 5 specialists.
My second great unit production center also working on CKNs.
As you can see I took your advise to start on a forge. I used a whip on the walls to overflow into the forge.
Like I mentioned in the report I will loose the tile NW next turn, which will stagnat growth in Forza. But it's more then capable to produce more units.
I'm not sure what to build next in Galura. It's a bit low on hammers, so maybe I build those ceaper units like spearmen here.
Next turn Moai is finally finished. Better late then never. Then it will be some spearmen for defense and working on specialist, just like Karlabos.
The missionary is for Exdeath. Other then that I will propably build wealth here to stay financially stable. It's a bit far of to contribute to the war effort on the west front.
I'm growing to 4 pop so that I can double whip things in an emergency. Other then that it's more culture buildings here.
With the lighthouse I will start working the coast tiles for some additional commerce. The next building after that will propably be a library.
And another wonder is of the list. And hey RFS is now a kingdom, too. But there are bigger events casting their shadow upon us.
With excellent timing on loosing the tile NW of Forza, Elkad moved in with a good chunk of his army.
A smaller army is moving in towards Liquid Flame (under the copper)
And one praetorian is looking for a target near Byblos. I cautiously moved my units into town and the workers away, because Superdeath also has units in the area.
Now the big question is: Can I "convince" Elkad to not attack, like I did it 20 or so turns ago with OT4E.
But first our current power rating:
Demos also said that I'm 3rd in soldiers.
First thing I did is move my whole attack force into Forza and promote my units. I hope that this force my scare him away. I also purposefully send in my CKN to show him that I have them.
Next I started/continued CKNs in Wing Raptor, Siren, Forza, Galura, Liquid Flame and Byblos. Iron Claw started a spearmen. Sandworm whipped the lighthouse to completion overflowing in either a barracks or a unit.
Forza whipped the CKN it was producing.
After that I send out an iron for iron deal to Magic and a copper for copper deal to Shallow, to signal them that something may happen. My chariot in Shallow's territory scouted around our border and did not find any large army, so I may be safe on this front, should Shallow consider to backstab me.
The big question is what Superdeath will do, should Elkad declare war on me.
And as a side note I'm running 20% science this turn to finish mathematics.
And Elkad did not declare war. But he kept his units in range, which is very annoying as I can't persue my conquest plans as long as he's there. Forza still needs 10 turns till the next border pop and then some turns to reclaim that tile. To add insult to injury Superdeath has an Impi nearby and knows that my troops are bound here. I'm thinking about stopping unit production in all cities and building wealth to get Bureaucracy faster and close the tech gap to the other players.
Elkad's troops near Liquid Flame are gone, but he signed open borders with RFS. Maybe he will try to send his forces through RFS' territory. That's why I moved one chariot back to Liquid to have a better look at RFS territory next turn.
Power is increasing rapidly, great. Maybe that sends Elkad in the other direction.
I also found Shallow's army, or at least parts of it. Mh maybe Shallow is considering an attack on Superdeath. Taking out Deadpool, which is Superdeath only iron source will seriously hurt him. Next turn I will see if there are more troops in the area.
So you need a bit more context for this offer. Last turn I forgot to report that I send Shallow an Corn for Wheat offer, because he doesn't have corn. I rejected this 5 gpt for Wheat offer. I don't need wheat that desperately. I also was able to cancel our 5gpt for stone deal, which I did. Right now I have build everything important for which I needed stone.
Elkad retreated his forces from our border. The question is where did he go. I moved my main attack force towards RFS. I will need it there and should Elkad move his main force towards Liquid I will need more defenders there. Forza shouldn't be in danger right now, because I can still move my force back into town.
So Elkad did not hide any forces in RFS' territory. That's good, but he moved a sentry horse archer towards the lake near Liquid Flame. From there he can see into my city. I don't have spearmen in town and Liquid Flame is on flatland, so he might have moved his forces towards Liquid Flame, which is another reason to move my main force down here, which should arrive in time before Elkad can attack the city. His main force could be 1E of the copper, but from there he could attack Liquid Flame in T151, but my main force arrives in Liquid Flame in T150.
This does not look like an attack force from Shallow. Will anything ever happen at this border.
So Elkad retreated most of his troops and they didn't show up at any other border. But he still has his sentry horse archer in RFS' territory. I fear that if he sees my army down there, that he will take the opportunity to attack.
On the other side my power now surpasses magic's power and I'm third in power after Elkad and Shallow. He also clearly has seen me having CKN, which is also something that could divert him towards another target. Maybe he even attacks RFS.
T150:
A big relief for me. Elkad double-moved me this turn and there are no further units from him at our border. For the last turns we were more or less in a turn order, but this shows me that he won't try anything for the next few turns. Forza still needs 7 turns to pop borders again.
So the next goal is to start an attack on RFS. Unfortunately there are some things that annoy me. First Elkad's sentry unit is still around and he has this spearman on the hill to my border. I hope that these leave their places until I declare war. I think it's best if the others only know that I declared war on RFS the turn after I did that. That's why I will try to declare war on RFS as late as possible in the turn order.
So here is my plan of attack. My army is currently stationed at the star tile 1E of Liquid Flame. I could have moved it into the city, but that way Elkad's sentry unit could see me, if he moves it back. This won't delay my attack plans in anyway as I couldn't have moved any faster. So as you can see I will declare war in T152 and will be at the capitol at T153. From there I will propably bombard for two turns and will start my first attack in T155. The big problem is that RFS has more units then I have, so I can't take the city in one turn. But he mostly has archers which I should be able to handle.
The two horse spots (yes those abominations are horses) are single chariots, which just scout the area for any movement by Shallow or Elkad.
Lastly I already have one settler nearby and another settler in production in Forza. I can build missionaries in 2 turns in Liquid Flame.
