Ended turn across a river from a lion, SHOULD live.. but my luck..
Yeah, im thinking archery after BW and then sailing? We will know soon if he teched archery, or if he is teching bw. if he gets a nice jump in score soon, im going to assume archery and skirms are otw. Im not going to lose this pitboss due to a rush. I will find a way.
"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

Best case scenario, they tech archery, march a skirm over and it gets killed by a bear.
Worst case scenario, they tech archery, march a skirm over, and we lose some random 20% battle for the cap.
I usually like to think in worst case scenarios.. So, we should finish BW around turn 22-23ish ill have to sim how quickly they could go hunting-archery and reach our borders. shouldnt beat our BW timing.. then with BW in, we go archery pump out an archer or two, and settle for copper and then hope they give up from there. Our biggest problem is if we tech bw-archery-sailing and they decided to not rush us, then we look like absolute fools as they tech and settle in our face.
If we survive the early game, we should be able to outlast them due to cothons and that gold, unless the mapmakers Also gave them a ton of other land to expand into. Come on lion, move elsewhere dont even attack unless you miss every swipe.. i need that scout to keep watch!

Thank you RNG God's, May i have another?
Also, Compin got a score increase this turn, so im going to just assume thats archery and prepare for the hurting. Really wish someone would have made sure that a duel sized island wasnt created on this map
Ill still see if i can squeeze out a win here, but its not looking good. So grab your and get ready for a ride.

They are going to need 3-4 turns to make it and 13 turns to move it. Can we have an axe by turn 30? That gives us 7 turns for hooking copper an building the axe =(. A bit tight. Archery should come round 28ish if we get it directly after bronze. Too tight as well. Conclusion: we need some warriors to deal with the worst case.
Tech choices is easy if bronze is by the river, then it is archery. If bronze is further then we might need wheel. If we tech archery first we risk being choked to death. If we tech wheel first we risk losing our capital.

If copper is on a river we are in heaven. If it isnt, its not looking great. Should we settle on copper if its on a river? or try and defend it aganist skirms.. gamespy experience tells me to settle on it, :/
Churning out warriors atm, i will only feel safe if we have 3 warriors to every 1 skirm. Even then, my luck will likely fail.

We still do not have certain information about any attack. I see it as a very high priority to get more info on eventual units coming our way. A scout on the plains hill by Compin would be best, non-threatening but showing them that we are aware of any moves they make. A warrior on the plains hill by the wheat would be the second best option. If we get that we can make much more informed decisions.
If there is or might be a threat then I think like this. If the copper is on a hill we should definitely settle it for the defense bonus and for defense against chokes. If the copper on flatland we will let our read on compin and the location decide. Flatland cities are not defensible until we get an axe out.

im figuring the copper should pop up on one of the two non-forested tiles near the cap. Both of which are on a river. I have sent a forward warrior to check for incoming skirms, and have a 2nd warrior completing EOT. I kinda wish we didnt have the Forested ivory right next to the cap, makes for a tough decision should a skirm make its way there.
