Incase im holding anything up, im conceding to Shallow. The reason? My poor judgement, and lack of late game attacks on human opponents. Also this :

He had alot more strength than i figured left. Ive lost all my gains from Elkad, including a fair chunk of units, Shallow is not far from Rifles himself and the peace treaty will be done soon. I can defend for awhile, might lost some outlier cities + thanos region, but i can likely hold out for.. idk... 30+ turns? Wont be fun though, and Elkad gave Shallow the win when he accepted peace. Its not like i wanted to stab him, but i didnt see any other way of actually coming out ahead in this game. With less land area than Elkad/Shallow for 99% of the game i was looking for any opportunity i could find to win the game.

The only thing i could think of that might have made a huge difference in the game would be to let Shallow grab the Eco merchant, and just grab RP with liberalism and get rifles and build up. Other than that, i think due to the land, and fact i didnt start next to RFS.. kinda lost me the game.

no screenshots today, but ive covered my retreat and ive got catapults ready incase anything comes across. I hope i can maintain 2nd place before the game is called anyway.

You know that there is a testing area in this forum, where you can test this. Another thing I just noticed is your images are saved as png. Try jpg, which is less heavy on the bandwith.

Other then that I tested your image with the screenshot feature and I think I got it working

Operation Shallow wins is a go-

Moving 99% of my 80+ rifles into position to hit Elkad. Next turn i will be right next to New Oasis ( or whatever weird name that is ) and ill be able to take it the following turn unless he has his whole stack there. Now, while that mini stack of 15 rifles + some cats does that, Elkad will likely do one of two things. Rush down south to take that stack out, or rush me with whatever garbage he has. That is why my main stack of soon to be 70+ units is going to be right in his way and if he doesnt do either of those, OR does rush down south to defend? I head straight for his capital. Any units built from here on out will be put into defensive positions against Shallow, all current units are heading to Hopefully take Elkad out of anyone's  " he could still win " books.

IM STILL CONCEEDING TO SHALLOW THOUGHT.

Figured id throw that in there considering no one else can win except Shallow, or by some miracle, me. Plus i threw whatever random off chance i had of beating Shallow when i took the peace treaty. I would have needed Elkad to throw his stack at Shallow, and Shallow to make some errors for me to make enough out of a war with him to keep up in anyway. Basically, my biggest mistake in this game was taking Economics instead of RP and then going for Rifling. Should have done that, and declared on Shallow once i had some rifles/cavs... Sigh. Also thinking that Elkad would not go bloodfued vs me, and instead keep attacking Shallow/not accept a peace treaty kinda fucked me. Oh, and special mentions to Magic for putting me in the   mood.

To anyone that thinks that i could have from 5ish turns ago made any choices ( even not accepting peace with Shallow ) that would lead to a win, i want what you are smoking  Elkad wasnt going to not attack me, if i went into Shallow lands, i have NO tech rate. Losing gold at 0%, less land/cities than either of my neighbors, Magic who is happily playing Viking Warlords, the game.. I had some good moments in this game, but others got better neighbors, better land, and were better players. Im fine with that.
Pre-Congrats Shallow on a very well done game.
Pre-Sorry to Elkad for the backstab that everyone saw coming ( there wasnt anything i could do against Shallow imo that would have not made this game last another 200 turns )

Seems like it works for me. You can solve the problem by editing the post after the fact in "view source." (If that doesn't help I'm sorry )

Also, I don't think you should cashier your chances yet. You have *89* rifles, 45 cats, and 38 cuirs (+3 cavs). That's over 150 units!!! If you can concentrate your force, you can inflict a TON of pain. Stack against stack he cannot fight you.

Whether or not you want to do that is another question entirely. But don't throw in the towel! (blood for blood's sake and all that)

Yeah, i tried editing/viewing source and a bunch of different methods.

Im not throwing in the towel, but i cannot slam into Shallow. I have to use this army NOW, so i have to attack Elkad and try and get some land. My tech rate was below Shallow before i lost cities, and i have 0 tech rate now.

If id attacked Shallow, i could have been held off by a butt-ton of Cats. I could have captured that border city, but wouldnt have been able to make anymore headway, not with Elkad biting at the bit to attack. Im still conceeding, but if it doesnt happen.. and i get to plow thru Elkad then maybe i can take back the concession.. but im not seeing coming out ahead in this game, unless Shallow just twiddles his thumbs for LITERALLY, another 30 turns. I need alot of time to rebuild. It would take him building garbage, teching garbage, and Elkad somehow attacking Shallow and letting me eat him. :0 I put my chances of winning at about the same as Elkad's when he was part of the dogpile on Shallow. Not great.
