[spoilers] wetbandit prioritizes civ4 over more profitable endeavors, again

Yada, yada, yada.

I will be somewhat out of pocket April 11-April 21.  But it's early and picking and moving the scout shouldn't be too hard.

Vikings are very well suited to the start. I can't see how I can throw back a civ that has the two food techs I need.

I just played a CHM leader, but that trait looks strong here and is generally very strong in whatever this version of RTR is. That library buff I possibly overvalue. No early happy in sight, decent amount of food and capital tiles to work, don't mind having a bigger or whippier capital early.

Doesn't seem that RTR financial is very strong to me. Org may outpace it very quickly.

I'd be throwing the two back for an Expansive leader. CHM/ORG seems strong enough not to risk it.

I will be keeping Napoleon of the Vikings.

Building sandbox to figure out how/when to build the WB.

So just to clarify. Do you intend to lock in Napoleon of the Vikings or do you expect to get another second leader choice? And in case of the later, is that allowed in the RPS method?

We're underway.  Where's the food?

Still in search of inspiration for a naming scheme.  Might be based around lack of food.  Named city for very poor pun on Bonaparte.

That's a lot of financial grassland.

Workboat first doesn't make sense without a 3 hammer tile in the first ring.  Worker and Mining set.  It's a straight beeline to BW and some minor micro shenanigans after the worker is built to try and min-max the wb and growth.  Let's be real though: the most impressive part of my sandbox was that I drew the river exactly the same as the game, which I'm never able to do.  I hate drawing rivers.

Everyone who's settled so far has the same 7 land tiles.  Somewhat confused with the 3 MFG.

Seeing that some players had problems setting up their sims, I decided to provide everybody with an accurate sim.
