Although i love the aggressive plans.. i think it would be better to drop the mage on the mountain, and the spear in those trees. and kill the town with the spear, and cap with ryota for the higher hp. ill back the giant off a smidge, and with reinforcements we can pummel him in like... 3-4 turns. With a giant + mages, attacking into us would be a bad idea. Looks like they want to push me back in the north, and conquer the center.

I'm not sure it matters what HP the unit that caps the village has... CH will surely knock it down in one hit regardless with Valder, to charge his groove.

But, that Forces him to use valder, over other units. But either way, the village gets capped.

Here's the situation on my turn:
Things to discuss:
* Where do you want your troops dropped off?
* In the center Scooter has made a very aggressive, and in my opinion ill-advised play. My thoughts are to have my full health Spear directly behind the Treb move forward to attack the 6-health Infantry, then the 7 health Spear attacks the Knight (with a Crit bonus; not sure if this will kill it), then your Treb can attack the Archer. Sound good?
* In the South, my preference is to move my CO to the 2-defense tile 2 tiles south of the bridge (currently occupied by a Spear), the Giant to the forest a few tiles ahead of it, and the Spears all forward together as a blob. I'll also inch the Vampire forward, just out of the Mage's range. Any issues with this? I could move the Giant toward the center to decisively win that front, but Scooter may decide it's worth sacrificing most of his units in the area to kill it, and I'm not sure that would give us an advantage we don't already have.
* Builds... I'm torn between a Giant + foot soldier, or Dragon + Infantry, or Mage + some air unit + another foot soldier, or maybe even a Ballista or Treb from my forward base. Note that Scooter may decide to cover the tile 1N of his front barracks with his new Harpy... that will make capturing it difficult until I can get my Mage in position to whack it, so a Dragon or another Giant may not be super useful. A second Giant is probably best used in the center. I guess I like Giant + Spear best (with the Giant arriving in the forward base), but am open to suggestions.

Troops can be dropped off as close to the front as possible. Farthest wagon can drop off by the center. the other two, as close to the giant ( or in front of ) the giant as possible.
Im fine with the treb killing the archer, and the rest of those plans.
The biggest threat, is him attacking with the dragon.. however, he has less units in theater than you. I like the plan of moving the giant to the forest, Sigrid to where the spear is, and moving the spears all forward as a group. if you can move the vampire into a position that is out of range of the mage, but close enough to assist a Dragon kill, ( without using sigrid's Groove of course ) and keeps the vampire in range to assist the giant in killing Scooters town.. that would be amazing.
Im liking giant + spear. Try that? Spear can be shipped north/center.

Alrighty, got an idea.. move the wagon that has the mage as close to the giant as possible, Dont really care where.. can move him pretty easily.
Move the spear from behind the treb like you were normally going to do, but drop the spear that is in the wagon ( if the farther one that has a spear can drop it off, do it. ) Where your spear used to be. If the highlighted wagon isnt the one moved to drop that spear off, drag that wagon north and drop that spear anywhere. Near the giant if possible.

Playing turn now. You sure you want me to drop off your Mage next to the Giant? He'll be safer on the mountain next to Ryota, and get his Crit bonus. Otherwise you'll either just have to retreat him or possibly eat an Infantry attack, which is a lousy trade.

You're up! I recommend falling back with your more expensive, non-Ryota units in the north (I believe Ryota is safe for this turn), and using properties to heal up your damaged Mages. In the south, feel free to move forward with your lone Infantry to put yourself in capture range of Scooter's village next turn; I don't care which of us takes it, I just don't want Scooter to retain it.

What do you think about a treb up north as my big build this turn?
