I think we might be a sitting duck if we switch sides. We're surrounded by CUDDLE members.

Now, there is this option where we join PAL to infiltrate and get information and send that to CUDDLE...

LOL I suppose we could do that. Just really thinking about it...if we want to really participate in this game our best bet is this:

We switch to PAT (and really switch to it) but after we've established our borders and developed a bit. This means around T150 probably.

By the way Kyan talks that will probably be too late. If we got it where we jumped at the point that he's referring to where they bulb 4 techs and what not...we just need to be prepared. If we want to jump maybe we should try to talk to Kyan a bit more and get some more information. If we had a timeline for that we could prepare ourselves accordingly.

If we don't want to take on a real prospect of competing in this game or if we just want to remain loyal to Cuddle then that's ok too. We'll probably get run over by somebody sooner than later.

Don't know... it's a tough call.
I don't have the time to do all the diplomacy and neither do you, I think.
Playing two sides against each other will cost a lot of time.
I do have a bit more time the next few weeks, but still...

I think PAT is setting us up to be a target by defecting to them.
Can't really decide, but my feeling tells me we'd better stick with CUDDLE due to the time we have available.
But we keep good relations with Kyan and maybe get a little aid from them now and then for some not to vital info....

Ya after giving it some thought, I think you're right. Neither of us have the time to devote to diplomacy switching would entail. I'll be quite happy to continue playing the way we are and stick with cuddle. If we end up getting run over well I won't be disappointed. If we manage to overcome PAT all the better.

Can you inform Kyan?

re: that land split for an NAP...I was hoping to get that gold site with FP's for us. maybe we shouldn't mention anything about that for now. I don't think he's got any plans to hit us in the near term so maybe we just continue on our merry way and if we end up being able to settle there first we best bring an army to hold it.

I was thinking the same thing re: HA whipping. Overflow into a monastery and start missionary spamming. We might have to revolt into Buddhism for the happiness sooner than later though...

Hey guys. I'm over my RPB2 post-elimination depression stage. Read through the thread to catch up on the state of our empire, but I'm still very confused about the diplo situation. Can either of you post a little briefing on the diplo? Especially on tech alliances. I'll try to read through the emails we've got, but it's a mountain-load of work.

No promises, but I'll try to take a more active part in the game (if I'm still welcome!). Since you both want to handle the in-game stuff, and you're better at it than me, that leaves diplo to me. You guys should still make the final decisions in diplo, but the part I'm planning for myself is to try to get updated and stay updated on diplo and provide you the needed info. How's that sound?
