Chaos barbarians with flame bladed gladiators rush was completely overpowered strategy in a game played. In comparison, sorcery high elves gave nice balanced game against the AI. I played on advanced.

Do the full rainbow with the last point in life. All of your settlements get an extra 8 food and settlers are so cheap that you dont really care about garrisons. You just expand mindlessly in true klackon fashion, even on the scarce 1 food tiles you can get up to 12. Your income and production are off the charts. Stomped it on expert razing everything and rebuilding the world with pure klackon lineage. have yet to try it on lunatic

Any suggestions where/which codec to download/use for recording? Something that uses multiple cpu cores (but leaves the one Dosbox is running on alone) would be ideal.

I use OBS and the default codec that it has. As i remember i only had to set bitrate and fps. Maybe i also did set up scaling (my actual size of a MoM game window is rather big but the resulting video is set to be 1280x720 or something like that). That is also an OBS video capture settings to make recordings easy for my PC
Installed OBS, no idea how to make it work though. Hypercam was easy, I drew a rectangle around the area on the screen and it recorded that area.
OBS, I tried adding the two windows as sources (CoM and Notepad), preview window is empty black. Now what? I found no "record this rectangle" option.
I also chose window as a source and it is black for only if dosbox is not running. Also because you use 2 sources at the same time you need to set up the scene to chose where should both windows be located. I guess i am bad at explaining just ask youtube there is lots of videos on how to set up obs

Lizardmen 4 life 4 sorcery 2 nature famous and charismatic played until AI surrendered using 5.57 and advanced difficulty. This got very strong in the early mid game after having enough fighter's guilds to produce javelineers stacks and nagas helped to get there. Heroes and dragon turtles did most of the work in the later game.
