You would need to download the pitboss save and then play it locally with your computer acting as a server and play in pitboss mode. In the setup for the pitboss mode you just kick everyone else to AI. The IP address needs to be localhost. But there is probably a password for the game and I don't have that, nor access to the save.
I would like to adopt the practice of posting pitboss saves from the concession turn after games. This could make for some interesting variant playthroughs during typical down times (Christmas comes to mind) and some good challenges, depending on which civ you try to rescue against AIs. I'm not sure if we would want to do this retroactively given password issues but going forward when setting up games let's keep this in mind when selecting a password (pick something random that can be shared after the game).
