Shuffled things around at Blake & Paint It Brown: set Blake to a Skirmisher (needed to fogbust/garrison Iron City) due in three, then we can start the catapult (and whip it at size 4). Moved Lucky Maya to the desert hill to fogbust the route to Ruby, so that next turn Marianne can complete the road and Bianca can start to road the wheat. Lucky can still whack the axes next turn.
Moved Bill out of Paint It Brown to cover for a low-odds defeat against the axe (no risk of Inca attacking next turn). Cyrinda put 1t into a road NE of Uberfish; next turn she can work on the cottage that was started a few turns ago.
With the lack of free units to fogbust Iron City, I think it will probably be best to let Uberfish grow to size 7 before starting the settler. We can rearrange tiles next turn to work all cottages.
Chariot named 'Wild' (Horses) and Spear 'Tumbling' (Dice).
Research set to Music at 0% for a run at 100% when we're done with Pyramids.
EDIT: noticed Byz has been putting EPs on us, so moved 2 away from Inca.

Weren't you going to use Black's Sentry to peak into Kalin's Burgers?

We can only see 1N of the city (as you can see from the screenshot) because we don't have OBs with Inca.

Switching research to 100% per email from England:
Quote:Carthage: Paper, due T106.
Mali: Well, you can get some funding, too, so run 100% science, and we'll send funds as able. England's running about +40-45gpt, so that finances 1 person, and we've got 150g in the bank.
Maya: You've got enough gold for Machinery, thanks to Krill's reserves. After that...hm...I think we should pick up Drama? Prioritizing Music @ Mali over Drama, though.
Babylon: Feudalism's due T105? And then from there, there are options, mostly Engineering or Education (I know you'd mentioned getting a bulb into Education, if the plan is a single bulb, then starting Education might make sense, and have either Maya or Mali go for Engineering after clearing out the top of the tree).
We have 566g total, and incoming income is at 60-70gpt from us and Krill and max consumption is about 160gpt, but that's going to go up to at least 100gpt from the shrine, Krill switching to Bureau, and us getting a market down at London. That still leaves us at just 3 full-time techers long-term, with a 4th researching as able. That's why I'd be interested in adding the Inca, just to get our hands on the 30gpt, but I understand Carthage's reticence to add a backwards civ.
Marble has been sent to India by the Aztec, but that might have been before realizing that GLib had been taken. Only India and Ottomans have Literature right now.

T102: Krill asks for Aesthetics. Carthage cancels gift of fur.
Wild moved into Sirian. We can move him 1S of Sirian but I'm not sure it matters either way. Lucky Maya upgraded to Combat 1 and kills Axe which had moved onto the horses, with 2.8/4 HP left. She should probably be moved into Blake to heal more quickly, but could also be used for fogbusting if needed. Bill moves back intto Paint it Brown.
Switched Uberfish from working the mine to a flood plains Cottage stolen from Sticky Fingers, which lets it grow in 2 turns instead of 3.
Marianne finishes the road NE of the Wheat, and Bianca starts a road on the Wheat. I've left Jerry and L'Wren unmoved. Jerry could start a river cottage at Sticky Fingers, continue a non-river cottage, or move onto the forest to chop it. L'Wren should probably build a road, either on her current tile (the mine she finished last turn), or somewhere next to it.
I've also left some of the military units unmoved.

If we move 2NW of the city, shouldn't we be able to see into it? Do you want to avoid sending Black that far west? I think we may as well take a peak, and have placed signs on where to move him if you agree.

Actually, I cancelled the fur gift because we don't want to rely on the kindness of others Offered Lit to Egypt.
I had L'Wren road her mine and Jerry start another river cottage at Sticky Fingers. Mick trundles ever onward...
I was wondering whether we should in fact promote Poison Ivy to sentry and have her check out Kalin's Burgers once she has fully healed? Ivy can then fogbust our southwest whilst Black does the same for our southeast?

Do you think Kalin's Burgers might pop its borders again before Poison Ivy can finish healing and make it over there?

They only have a terrace (info from England), so I don't think so but I'd have to check back in the thread to see when the settled the city to be sure.

As we can see from the shot of Paint It Brown in the following post, Kalin's Burgers hadn't popped borders on T84, so we've plenty of time before it gains its 3rd ring

Finished T102 by promoting Poison Ivy to sentry which gave her the ability to see over the hills (sight beyond sight ) to significantly improve Ruby's security. Moved black E-NE and saw that Inca's axe has moved on...
T103 Partial Report
We got Machinery from Maya, so we can now train Macemen Unfortunately, Portugal has Feudalism so no chance of a knife-through-butter attack on CUDDLE Bablyon is due to complete Feudalism for PAT on T105. We'll complete Music in 5 turns if we can get another 200g.
Tech discussion ongoing, but it's looking like Maya will go for Engineering, Carthage will finish Paper and start Guilds, Babylon will go for Education (part-bulbed) and we Printing Press, also part-bulbing the tech. We might get some funding, but we'll have to be at least partly self-financing because we'll have 4 techers and only two funders (Egypt & England).
Had a chat with Carthage who have 1gpt in unit maint (to our 7) and 58gpt costs (49). OR is costing them quite a lot because we both have 6 cities. If we land Pyramids then we'll take a hit from Rep, but the boosted specialists should off-set that.
Wild destroyed the axe south of Sirian, but was quite badly wounded (0.8). There's a barb warrior a few tiles away, so he should probably be promoted and heal in place.
Final Pyramid chop completed at Sirian. The rounding hasn't been kind to us so we have to work an unmined grass hill to get the wonder in 3 rather than 4 turns
Other than that, our workers carried on with their tasks unmolested by barbs. We've started to road towards the Iron city, and will connect Ruby to the rest of our cities next turn.
Left Black unmoved: with the Incan axe out of the picture, we can move him 2SE onto the hill that it previously occupied. What do you think?
