Ive loaded Time walk, and Black Lotus up with rifles/longbows.. OH has grenadiers... Going to be messy. I put out a open borders + fish/fish and then a separate iron/iron to Mr.Cairo.. It wont work, but it would be nice if he used this opportunity to snipe OH's monster shrine cities. He wont, he will attack me and lengthen this game. If my land wasnt so barren and shitty maybe i could have enough natural production/population to keep up a good defense. Ive got 11 cats ready to smack anything that OH might land, although with Amphibious promotions.. those grenadiers are going to be NASTY. Im going to rely on keeping a decent amount of rifles/longbows in my southern cities to prevent Cairo from taking much, but im not going to focus on a counter-stack for the south. ALSO -ALSO.. I found a bug with the industrious Unique buildings.. With the bonus the game thinks you can 1pop whip the "industrial" wonders... i accidentally wasted 2 pop trying to whip the industrial heroic epic. Heh. Im hoping i can at least hold Time Walk. If time walk falls, and i cannot recapture... i will be just logging in to /whip and end turn.
To think i thought i had a chance at 3rd place or so roughly 25 turns ago.. What was i thinking. Fun fact- Teching has slowed for the top people, they arent teching past chemistry. Basically meaning, i was the tech leader until i was brutally attacked. At least i was leading in something :D

Quick update-
OH has a fair chunk of galleons 2 tiles away from my capital. I have a modest garrison in the cap, but i have the majority of my defense in my GLHouse city. Im protecting both from a DDay invasion, with a good chunk of cats. I have a feeling he wont land though. My luck is he has either 20 cho-ko's or all highly promoted Grenadiers... My production is so friggin low that i cannot afford to lose capital, Time Walk, or either of my two cities that are finishing Heroic Epics. All my other cities are complete shit for a good 10-20 turns, and i dont see Mr.Cairo helping at all.
My earlier posts about why the game hasnt ended, i .. didnt really see how much land/territory OH has access to. With Krill for whatever reason basically checked out, and taking very quick turns for someone with #1 power.... im seeing OH looking for juicy Superdeath spoils, to turn into Mr.Cairo spoils, to turn into a possible win? Its still a low chance imo, like.. 15% chance of OH pulling out a win. Up to 40% if Krill just sits and does fuck all. Is it too much to ask to survive this pitboss?
In "happy" news, i got to kill one of OH's privateers at like 30% odds!

Officially on depression isle with Lewwyn now. Time Walk got wrecked by more galleons than i care to think about, which allowed a stack of knights to find my cat stack that i had THOUGHT would be far enough away... and destroy it. My only possible countermeasure gone.
Hope gav, and Mr.Cairo like dealing with an OH with all my shit land.
I hate to say this, as this is my first game with the guy.. but seriously wtf has Krill been doing? I almost dont want to be in games with someone that takes 10-15min turns at this stage of the game with 2-3x the amount of cities as i do, and just seems to not try and counter someone like OH. Maybe at the games conclusion and when i read his HUGE thread, ill find out why. Maybe im just angry for being outsmarted by someone when i thought that i had everything covered.. Ill have to ask OH to dedlurk a game sometime. Maybe if i join his academy i can get a win in one of these civ games ffs.
Let the endgame of PB42 begin!

Still on depression isle.. but im setup to possibly take back the great lighthouse? Trying to get out of this two front war bs. Take my islands OH... just let me have my big island. Cairo can get bent if he thinks ill just let him keep those 2 cities, unless..... of course OH continues to force me to divert resources. Sigh.

Ive decided more or less, that Cairo will be the one to be pushed back. ( not for lack of trying vs OH ) I cannot deal with the amount of naval bs that OH can throw at me. So im retreating forces from my mainland/north side, to go and wipe Cairo's army from existence. Im planning on holding at my 2 heroic epic cities + my only non-boatable city. The rest can/will be burned or captured by OH at his leisure. I tried to get a peace treaty from Cairo but he turned me down. I will not be making peace with either of these two for the rest of the time im in this game. Eat that unhappiness
If they coordinated.. i think they could have me eliminated and joining the lurkers in... 15 or less turns.
Massive amount of images:
Enjoy!

OH is overrunning the north, and im not going to engage him anymore if i can help it. Im going to protect the two heroic epic cities in the center, and capture or at least push everything i have into Cairo for 2 reasons: 1. Cannot touch OH's army if it always stays in the god damn boats. 2. He didnt accept my peace treaties..
Unless he gets a great alpha strike in on me, or has a bunch of reinforcements in the fog.. i think i can push Cairo back to the sea. This is two-fold. 1, its revenge for Cairo "screwing" ( i was going to die to OH's fleet regardless... but i was at least HOPEFUL ) me by declaring war and taking a city and forcing me to spend gold on upgrades/teching towards rifling which left me that much more vulnerable to attack from OH... 2. This should weaken Cairo enough that Gavagai can eat him next.

Retook Carthage, and im gathering forces to possibly threaten either of my other two cities. I think i can move so i can take either one.. if i go for phyrexia i think i can avoid getting smack for 14+ collateral damage. Worth a shot.

Im inside Carthage. OH could possibly slam everything he has in the galleons nearby to knock most of my standing army out, if he doesnt.. im planning on taking out the next city that was mine. ALSO Cairo sent me a 10 turn peace treaty. Im sure thats exactly what you would want at this stage...
Im tempted to throw OH a peace treaty, but he has no reason to accept it at this point. He replanted my old capital location, and has a major foothold in my northern area. He can take my islands at will, and is currently blockading them. Which is fine, note to Cairo : Blockcade or sit on top of resources... its alot nicer than just pillaging my fish/crab every chance u get... nasty little privateers.

Was this really needed? IMO, it basically tells OH that "hey, dont wake me from my slumber and you have a freeshot at everything! " Sigh.
