Barb is on the horses, we shall see if he destroys it or hopefully kills himself on my archers. ( probably kills an archer, then i lose one on the return swing or some bs.. )
Mids complete EOT, with gold/rep being complete next turn. I have alot of commerce tiles to grow onto/swap to, and i expect to regain my lead in food and eventually gnp in less than 10 turns.

WE GOT THE PILE OF ROCKS!
Swapped to rep and the immediate changing in tiles put me back to #1 in food already... thats kinda funny, but ill have to see how it is when im at the end of the turn order incase workers are completing food for others. Still, im tied for 1/2nd in production, 1st in food by a tile, and my gnp will be out of this world in 20-30 turns. I feel confident i can fill out to 10 cities total ( all my peaceful expansion ) by t120 or so. My silver/fish/crab/marble/deer city is going to be planted in 5-8 turns, or less depending on whip or not. My cities will be able to grow to size 14-15 with my current happy+silver/gold. Im going to keep a city or two on pumping out spears and eventually HA's to counter any attacking stacks that may wander by.. but im hopeful to avoid conflict until i can reach musketeers/knights and then go eat Elkad.
Because this is such a great turn for me im going to give a little bit of a breakdown of the current neighbors and whatever various thoughts im probably wrong about.
Elkad: Lets start off easy, Elkad seems to have continued to be lagging a bit in expansion, i have no real clue as to the reason as he doesnt have a particularly high power rating to suggest that he would be gearing up to take land from someone that has been just expanding, although he has been making me nervous up until this turn with keeping a warrior on my border.. Im assuming he is getting ready to invalidate/plant where i am planning on planting our border city at. ( on the copper with crab/cow ) and wanted that warrior to watch for any incoming settler party. While i wont see it as super hostile for him to do so, as its right in the middle.. i DO see it as "my" city, and i will likely prepare an invasion force to snatch it away and then peace out. I dont see myself being able to peacefully co-exist with Elkad as im betting that he wont be trusting of my diplomatic fish/fish stuff. Which is fair, i DID backstab him a bit because i misread the situation, but im hopeful that he will be more inclined to settle up on someone else. I hope to roll over him in the late HA/knight era, but if that doesnt happen i hope he gets enough land to stop himself from being run over by someone else..
BGN: Grabbed Stonehedge, not a bad play by any means and it will give mr cheap settlers/cities culturally dominate on almost everyones borders. We share a border to the east, and it looks fairly stable. BGN could settle a city in between both of ours, but it would never have enough culture to get the food required for it to be worth it. Im hopeful that he helps keep JR4 in check.
Cornflakes: Seemingly went for oracle instead of mids.. maybe trying to avoid taking the "obvious" path, and hoping no one else went for the big pile of rocks... so that he could more leisurely build it? Im willing to bet either MC or monarchy was taken with the oracle.. neither of which concern me too much. Im in the process of fighting a culture war with the Ex-barb city. I will win eventually, but until then im going to need extra defense and ill be watching closely.
JR4: Seems to be doing quite well, although that is to be expected with having basically OH's team B squad. Im curious if maybe JR4 had gone after oracle or something similar and lost out and has been using that gold to fuel research? According to GNP ( and i know it lies a bit with culture ) they havent dipped much and they were basically neck and neck with me in cities. I wish i had scouted more, so that i could see what kind of land JR4 has to expand into.. is he going to be fighting with BGN for more land to the north/east of my border city? Alphabet cant come fast enough.
Non-bordering people:
Donovan Zoi: Seems to be off to a pretty good start, no wonders but Creative/imp zulu says F-U to wonders, i want more cities! Hopefully he distracts some of my neighbors with a war or two to give me the edge i desire.
Wetbandit: Didnt accept open borders, but it doesnt "really" do anything at this point i believe, but its the thought that counts......... right? only person i dont have graphs on.

Quick update:
Setting up to whip some libraries and build another monster city. Saving gold while teching math, my GE from the mids will be here shortly and i have to decide what i want to rush. MoM? Parthenon? Save it for later fun? Possibilities are endless. Im going to work very hard to keep Ted Bundy a non-polluted pool of GE's.
Cornflakes has decided that im the one he wants to throw all of his EP on, and thats fine with me. If Elkad doesnt end up attacking me with whatever power he seems to be growing, ill be hoping to take a shot at either him or Cornflakes in 30-40 turns from now. Not a full-scale conquer, but a sniping of a city maybe.. Who knows, i havent gotten the mids before outside of AI games and its filled me with so much joy.

and something im going to do in order to try and get more lurker comments/questions/views..

Apparently i have forgotten to update this thread.. Anyways-
Got the capital working 2 scientists with my academy due in 7 turns. Other cities are going to be finishing up libraries of their own, and then they will contribute to the need for more units. ( apparently compared to other pb's, this pb has ALOT of early units being made.. is this because of emp? ) Im dead last in power with not a complete farmers gambit going.. so who knows. Cornflakes has been dumping EP into me, so im dumping it back and building walls in my border cities and stuffing them with archers/spears. I will not be dogpiled in this game if i can help it.
My next city will probably crater my economy for a couple turns, but after that it will all be gravy as it expands borders ( im hoping to grab a religion in 3-4 turns ) and picks up silver+ a bunch of food/production. Capital is going to churn out units along with Ted Bundy to keep people at arms length. Other cities will be working on expansion and maybe getting some fail gold from TGWall. Tech path is Myst-meditation-math-currency atm. After currency its either running to Music for the free GA, or metal casting for forges.
Alot of screenies:
Cities:
I think im doing fairly well, and i will only get stronger as the game progresses.
I feel like JR4 will need to attack me, or someone else to be a leader.
Cornflakes is doing pretty well, and is likely to be a game leader for the foreseeable future.
BGN, i assume is doing pretty well but might be losing focus already.. so i need to watch out for a random galley attack across our sea maybe?
Elkad im still scared of, as he has high power and borders me. He hasnt settled towards me that i can tell yet, and i plan on my next city to be planted after my t87 plant to be the border city. It will be stocked with an archer and a axe to start with.
I think DZ might be taking this pb pretty seriously, OR is leaving his game on while he runs errands. Long turns, and someone who i dont think has been given a good chance to shine? Cant wait to see what he does to our ( i think ) mutual neighbors.
Wetbandit... I dont border him, and he is taking off. Hope whomever takes over is aggressive enough to keep someone like JR4 from running thru them.
I realistically like my odds in this game. If i can survive without getting dogpiled by turn... 110? I think ill get close to runaway status. "looks up gunpowder/guilds bulbs"

Question: Do you pause for people that dont ask for one? curious on people's opinions. Pros: dont have to reload. Cons: They might not notice that they have a turn to play for a very long time.. Hmm.

Going to save gold one more turn, and then 1t myst-meditation.
Question for lurkers, how does the game choose the religious holy city. Does it go to the newest city? ect ect. Id LOVE for it to land in a city im going to plant in two turns, and id HATE for it to be on the border with Cornflakes as i bet that would give too much incentive for him/JR4 to tag-team.
Also, im within decent odds to win 1million dollars in the iowa lottery tomorrow. So if i disappear for awhile, its because i was drunk with money. The reason i have "decent" odds? Some dumbass didnt turn in their 1million dollar winner earlier this year, so the iowa lottery decided they would give it out to whomever wins a drawing for it. Being that its an iowa ONLY drawing, its not super widely known, and that iowa only has a little over 3million people living in it and not everyone plays the lotto... id like to think i have not terrible odds this time around. Wish me luck

About your question. Every city gets a probability based on its population. There are some additional factors like captials probability is decreased.
TL:DR: Maximize pop in the cities you want it being founded and decrease it anywhere else.

Damn, was hoping it was easier than that. Thanks!
