Test games played

Now using ODS to record my games, it produces mkv files. I used virtualdubmod to merge parts previously, but that only works on avi. I tried looking for alternatives but everything I download pretends to be free then asks for money and doesn't really work. What should I use to merge multiple mkv files, preferably without having to reencode it? (same as the option "direct stream copy" in virtualdubmod)

I started a Night Stalker test game but would prefer to upload the first three parts already recorded in one single file as they are kinda short individually.

I use Vegas pro 13.0 to edit videos. It can do that. But it will reencode, is too complicated and not free. So it is probably not the best choice. By the way my OBS saves videos in .mp4 by default(may be because i picked x264 encoder?).

I'll upload part 1 f my new, troll test game later today but first I have a question :
What do I do against a pure Life Guardian (beastmen cities) using trolls? I'm playing Nature/Sorcery and my current best army is 9 war trolls with resist magic and resist elements. I'm worried that's not enough against their crazy bonuses. My only buff to speak of is Blur. My retorts are Conjurer and ofc Myrran.
Is there a good tactic or should I ignore that enemy and go to the other plane? I already have 16 Myrran cities, while this enemy only has 8 and I have an ally with another 8 so I don't need to beat them but it would be nice if I could - they are chaotic so I can't expect peace to last.

Life realm has no damage spells so adding a hero to a stack of trolls would be very good. It would be rather easy to level that hero up fighting life wizard and after a hero is able to block shots of +2 to hit magicians(or how many to hit is there?) you can conquer his cities.
In order to feel safe you need for a magician to do 0,5 damage/attack to a hero. Let's put(https://masterofmagic.fandom.com/wiki/Ad...Calculator) 9 str magic attack +2 to hit, 4 figures and check what def we need for that(assuming +1to def). The answer is ~20def.
He probably also has heavenly light so a magician would have 10 attack. So 21 def +1 to def hero.
But probably that calculator doesnt take into account that +1 to def works only for the first 15 shields...whatever, i am lazy to count, you get the idea ^_^

Heroes, good idea. Unfortunately I have no defense items. Well,  I do have a 3 defense staff but that's it. Actually I have no heroes either. I only had two offers, neither of which particularly good heroes. I spent the gold on war trolls instead.
I guess lair hunting or going to Arcanus first then, and if I do find items or reach elemental armor/magic immunity then I'll visit that wizard. I should have a fairly high chance for one of those spells with 5+5 books. Iron Skin might do the trick, too. And let's not forget Invisibility. Yeah I definitely should wait for rare spells unless I find some amazing artifacts.
I'm going to continue a little longer before uploading, I'm curious what I can find.

Edit : I lost two full stacks in towers. ehh.
