I see a question mark behind 'No city trading'. If you ask me this question mark can be deleted.
I'm in favor of snake pick.
Also I'm on vacation from 18. November to 24. November without access to the internet.

Didnt know what we wanted to allow in diplo or not.
"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

I'm also in favor of snake pick and no city trading, part of the fame of PB2 was the city trading, but that mostly caused a lot of salt which I'm pretty sure we want to avoid. I'm personally able to play pretty much whenever, but I think it would work better for everyone's sanity if we delayed game start until after the new year, that way we avoid any awkwardness with the holidays.

Seems snakepick is the winner.
Map type? We have a vote for a pb2 ( donut? ) style map.. and that sounds like a lot of fun, so ill throw my vote in with that.
Trying to figure out forums or email for diplo ( im in favor of forums tbh.. ) plus getting a suitable map made and hopefully getting a dedlurker for each team? I can agree on a start somewhere around new years. But we can always start earlier and pause for holidays ect.

Map type: I would prefer a classic pangea style map. Mainly because on donut the borders are more or less defined and you have mostly two direct neighbors. On pangea styled maps you can have different amounts of neighbors and the borders are less well defined. Could be more interesting for a diplo game.

IF Pangaea, do we want natural? Or fairly balanced? At the very least no matter the map i want to have no Lewwyn style starts.

I'm in favor of natural. Let somebody role a map and check the starts and strategic resources. Oh and if we are six I would prefer a bigger map then the one in PB47

When we do diplo on Badgame we just message each other on Steam or PM on the forum and post updates in our thread about what's going on.

I think a Pangaea sounds nice, natural would be preferable. Regarding Diplo: I think either threads or PMs would be best, team emails just sound awkward.

I would prefer pM. Mainly because you can post the message directly in your thread without worrying about format.
