All I can say is gross.... this isn't some real dlc with bug fixes and some new content, this is virtually a complete remake of the base game.... I'll be demanding my money back as it isn't what was advertised/expected...

I did tell them they should not call it a DLC but a MOD a few days before the release, oh well. Now people are complaining they got something better than advertised.

Oh and that same guy is complaining even more now.. think I've 'set him off' sorry lol.

He raises a valid concern, and the incident he mentions did actually happen, but just let him have his opinion its not worth fighting over.

Well, I installed both the GoG and the Steam version and nothing happened to my files but I was smart enough to not install into my existing game directory. I don't use Galaxy though and my game might not be in the folder it was originally installed into so the circumstances are different.
I doubt it goes as far as scanning the entire hard disk and deleting files although if it does that's definitely worrying so Slitherine should look into that.

Lord Kane go check my replies in those threads.. I don't care about the naming issue, of course he's right on that one, Seravy confirms that.. I care about his other statement telling people not to buy the game because he doesn't like the changes it makes.

I'm more surprised about those complaining they have to pay $3 I mean, if you can't afford it, why don't you pirate it like everything else? It's not like other games are all free and this is the only one costing money.

Hope this leads to them putting you in their next printed magazine too! I'll never forget in 2017 when I opened my monthly delivery of PC Gamer to find they'd done a small feature on my Quest For Glory IV 3D Hexen mod. Nearly fell out of my chair as there was something I'd made printed in the worlds largest PC game magazine that I'd been getting for over 25yrs lol.

What's funny is that my QFG4-3D mod isn't even all that good lol, my Star Tek Doom mod is much better but they didn't seem to care about that one hahaha oh well.

Anyway fingers crossed they cover CoM! They didn't cover my stuff on their website though so presumably being featured on one format caries no guarantee of the other, but if they do I'll scan it (I get the mags a couple of months late though as I'm not in the UK) and post it here!

EDIT: Oh and FYI the PC Gamer article has a comments section you may wish to check out (all looks positive).
