"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

We have 8 players right now, all recently confirming to play. Settings? IMO, enough room for a comfortable 7-8 cities each, ( id REALLY love a donut map ) Monarch, RTR/BUG mod + normal settings/rules/snakepick.

I would prefer a more natural map than a doughnut.

Balanced but natural sound perfect. But honestly I would rather err on the side of a bit unbalanced and interesting rather than uniform. Have you tried to recruit a mapmaker yet?

pindicator has agreed to dedlurk my game, so he can prevent me from dying to chariots.
On map size I'd definitely want way smaller than 46, but also some more room than 47.
