Incoming settler on sight!

Our scout is on his way to spot the new city and meet other people (that's the Khmer border you see in the bottom left corner):

Graphs, with power analysis of Cornflakes (income welcome nod, I am too casual to do this on a regular basis, might be dead wrong):

Other graphs (look Cornflakes's prod, working mines just before that last power jump):

We aren't doing good, that's the price of my earlier sloppiness. Hoping to catch up though, if neighbours let us do. mischief

First worker is currently chopping NE of the cap (might be time to name it whip ), second one is mining the riverside grass.

Settler due next turn (same than Cornflakes!).

Looks like the "grid for graphs" feature was helpful. smile

Yeap! I am quite liking the new features you have been adding guys thumbsup

re Cornflakes. I guess we will see it quick but judging from the power graph, that whip is more probably a worker whip...

Went on with the (probably suboptimal) plan and settled Utica last turn. (I swear I will find cool names before we die... might rewatch all the Monty's movies first though, for inspiration neenerneener )

Capital is growing size 3 on a warrior. Then will switch back on the settler to receive chopped hammers.

Demos (should stop posting these lol):

The map looks like a ninja star with a branch for each player.

I will start to think about dotmap of city 4/5 (hopefully we can settle them before being at war). Third should be on that PH between the wheat tiles.

The sixth will probably be the island for an instant +8 commerce. (But really settling it earlier looks like risky with that map)

I still need to work on the micro post turn 35. Still capital will probably grow to size 6 on a granary then units. City2 is probably set to whip another worker size 2 then its granary. City 3 proabably granary -> worker/Settler into units. Hopefully I can have some time in the evening to sim this and optimize worker turns to kinda catch up my early micro failure (failing?)...

Tech wise I started AH for the fur and to reveal horse. But I am puzzled if a 2 turns archery wouldn't be safer. I guess it's a nonsense, but if Cornflakes comes our way early, we are pretty much f...ed!

If you provide an up to date sim I can help out now. I don't know if I can recreate the current situation on my own. smoke neenerneener

Logging in to have a look.

edit: You don't have to fix the whole map, just our own output/builds/stuff.
edit 2: Very much in the mood to sim and get us going so if you can get this done it would be awesome. Just replay your opening and upload.
edit 3: I'm already seeing that you're not giving away the pigs tile while building the settler next turn which has to be a huge mistake, but just provide a save and I can find something for the forthcoming turns. Please don't play the next turn immediately.

Cornflakes settled towards us this turn, but on flatland 1S of the ivory. I'm now very interested in the location of our horses.

I don't think we should whip the settler for just a one turn gain, but maybe the whip anger expires before we can utilize it otherwise. I'll know more with simulations. The offer still stands to take over the next few turns and coming up with a plan if you supply me with an up to date empire sim. You can rest a bit, and you did so much work for PB48.

Archery before AH makes sense to me. We could use an archer anyway to settle our advanced gold city.

edit: Nevermind, I think I was able to replicate our start piecing together the turn reports. Going to work.

Looks like I am too late to help again, because we're currently having bowmen sent at us. Really needed archery earlier. I'm sorry for not being around to suggest it. We're probably dead.

Well, dead in the sense that we're going to have a city razed and if our opening wasn't bad enough already then this seals the deal.

You will understand when you log in, but I recommend putting the current production into the settler anyway. We will need it to settle on the PH for copper later and putting hammers into warriors is useless.

Hammers into settler --> complete warrior --> archers.

Worker should chop hill 1E of capital for archer production but also to not give a 75% defense tile to a bowman. And retreat the warrior.

Ouch that sucks. The worst is that I did see him build a bowmen but didn't think he would send it right away. I way too naive (or used to SP) smoke
Sorry about that pig, You are totally right about it. I guess this game is just a mistake suite. alright

Here is the current save if it can be of any use. (sorry was afk yesterday evening).
