When taking screenshots to stitch together, use CTRL+F or ALT+F (I forget exactly which) to enable "satellite camera" for less distortion. The vertical gridlines will run straight vertical instead of angling towards the center. You can use ALT+I as well to hide the interface.

Or now that BUG is implemented you can use the slider to zoom way out and likely capture much of the known world in a single screenshot smile

Yeah I tryed it, but screens were still bad. Though I was on my oldest comp so I might try again later with the best spec comp. Maybe the result will be better. smile

Raskolnikov Wrote:Hello,

I see you have fortified a warrior by the cows north of my cities. I was about to suggest talking about settling agreement and this is our chance.

I had my eyes on this site but I guess it would be too much. I am ready to concede that cow/siver site if you want, in exchange I would like to be able to settle by the banana a bit south of this area.

Tell me what you think.

Cheers,
Ras

I've got no problem with you settling by the spices/bananas down there. I definitely would have had a big problem with you grabbing the hill my warrior's on right now. I should be making contact with Mr. Cairo next turn so I can stop putting espionage on you too.

TBW

Glad to here!

Iirc you didn't reply about tech/ressources potential trades? It means you aren't interested?

Tx for the EPs. (I may be putting some EPs on you here and there till I met SD and GKC. Will try to keep the minimum though)

Re: scout vs bear.

Finally i guess it's wiser to wait one turn before continuing roading (idling on the mine)... The only impact is one turn of cottage later on rice/corn (the chop - next worker duty after the road - would have completed the turn we start our third settler so it doesn't matter). But loosing it would delay the Oracle and third settler so I guess it's a nobrainer.

Yes, I'm generally risk averse. On that same topic, once we have copper available you should put 5 hammers into a spear near TBW (and likely 5 hammers into an axe in capital) as soon as it's convenient to be able to whip in case of emergency. That is if you're not building one already anyway. I always keep reinforcements one turn away in the early game if I'm low on military, and I'm extra careful the turns I'm whipping 2 --> 1. But you've already made a long micro plan so maybe it'll be difficult to implement.

Did you ever make that post about long term plans? If yes, please tell me the post #.

read 310, 311. Not too far into the game. Plan is to settle most land, get the basic eco tech. Kill a neighbour

re 5h into spear, axe. We should find some room for them. Planning on building 3 axes or 2 + one spear in DoW anyway. Delaying settlers/workers in cap is annoying... but people are adventurous these days goodjob

Ressource: clams are very abundant in my area. Luxuries, I will have several silk down the road.
Techs: I am heading for maths sooner than later. I am OK to trade it (I may be opened to loopsided trade, for instance if you go for IW or stuff like that), or one of the techs it leads to.
