Thanks for asking, but don't feel the need to confirm with me.  I'll give my opinion when the new words drop, but if there is a consensus on something, feel free to move forward.  It's just a game after all, and this is my first time playing, so I'm not real versed in the strategic aspects anyway.

If I was guessing, I would go Nurse-->Paper-->Deck, so paper seems like a solid guess to me.

EGYPT, EMBASSY and RULER jump out the most to me. Maybe OIL instead of RULER, but I don't think they have OIL.

NURSE could be blue, so we should try HOSPITAL as the +1.

Let's see.
In recent times, the Libyan RULER, Gaddafi, was toppled.
There was an attack on America's Libyan EMBASSY.
The war played havoc with Libyan OIL exports.

Those connections seem pretty strong. The other option is EGYPT, as another North African state.
The clue Libyan (instead of Libya) seems to argue against it, but I could be persuaded to swap one of the words for EGYPT, probably RULER.

Blue really wants us to guess NURSE, but they're ahead, so they can do the honours! We can stick to the safer HOSPITAL for our +1. (I was really suprised at CYCLE being Blue, I thought the whole point of the Alcoholism clue was to link that word with the medical stuff. Maybe we were just supposed to avoid NEEDLE?)

The more I think about it, the less I like EGYPT.

If you had to clue the words EGYPT/EMBASSY/OIL, you probably wouldn't even think of Libya, and just use an Egyptian reference, i.e. Suez. If you wanted a more modern link to EMBASSY (the Suez Crisis was a diplomatic incident in the 50s? 60s?), then you might consider Libya, but you would clue it Libya, not Libyan. Libyan EGYPT doesn't make sense.

So I am fine with pointing to HOSPITAL before RULER/EGYPT, but of those two I definitely prefer RULER.
