Figured out how to get the Little Devil Familiar!!

Any wizard - your favorite - and you need to select the most books in any schools, so one school dominates:

Life Books dominate = you get Dove ....okay

Death Books dominate = you get Black Cat ...cool, but the cat is too dark and you only see it from behind, no face.

CHAOS Books dominate = you get LITTLE RED DEVIL .....he is the coolest, I LOVE HIM as a pet!!!

Nature Books dominate = you get Snake ...okay, but I hate the snake for what it represents...

Sorcery Books dominate = you get Beetle ...stupid looking beetle!! WOW! Didn't even know the beetle familiar existed!!

Items screen question

Eight is the maximum number of looted magic items or the items section can be scrolled horizontally somehow? So I can add more items to my collection? Or have to sell the 8+?

Yes, 8 is the maximal amount now instead of the original 4.

Originally it was a measly four??!  Thank You for increasing the item number to 8!      In the sequel we should have at least 20 slots and 12 heroes.

At combat begin is there a reason why this neutral city High Elf Cavalry is fleeing from my Nagas?  v6.03, but saw this in v6.02 too. Did as you said, patched the files. But earlier noticed it too..

Your army is way too powerful but the cavalry is faster than Nagas so it's trying to escape.
This is normal behavior unless the difficulty setting is low in which case it is disabled in certain circumstances.
The 6.01 bug was that sometimes the enemy did this even when they were strong enough to win.

Myrror plane turns last twice as long:

I noticed if I begin the game on Myrror - Dark Elf race is amazing - but turns there last twice as long and the game runs noticeable SLOWER frown frown, even on unlocked CPU near game begin it is way longer to wait out the enemies turns and I can clearly hear the musical notes still: indicating that the game is burdened way more on Myrror than it is on Arcanus. As if Myrror not only has magical roads, but also a lot of other plus parameters that the game needs to calculate EXTRA, when three wizards begin operating on Myrror and only one on Arcanus. So, while a Myrror begin is amazing, I'm forced to begin a new game on Arcanus, as the game code logic runs way faster - at least 2x faster there - in DOSBOX ==> enemy turn wait is shorter and code execution is way faster there = I can't hear the music on Arcanus in "Unlocked CPU"-mode, as the sounds are mashed together into a nice "noise-stream". While on Myrror the game is slow and the music notes can still be recognized on unlocked CPU = how I usually skim through the enemy turns.

Units with water/flying movement most likely process slower - their pathfinding to the target has to process the entire map instead of only a single continent.
It's much higher chance to have multiple Draconian players on Myrror (1/5 chance per player) than multiple Lizardmen players on Arcanus (1/9 chance per player).
Also, Myrror is more abundant in resources (especially if you set the map to rich) so the enemy might produce more units.

Defeated Tlaloc's Trireme carrying two Ghouls.  After battle the Ghouls had happily disembarked on the land to the NW.  This was surprising but cool, seems they swam for it.  :-)  In all my years playing this game, it seems that naval combat is so rare, I've never seen this happen or realized that it could!
