[SPOILERS] GeneralKilCavalry Eats Cans of Spinach in PB51

I'm legit gonna send 2-3 chariots over like WTF is that REX.

Empire is doing OK - last in GNP first/second in crops and MFG. The game is overall going well, starting to work cottages now with the immense happiness provided by charismatic. Bombay will be working 2 in short order, Vijayanagra 1, Dehli 3, etc.

Mostly plains and tundra. I think I am going to need to attack one of my neighbors and fast. I plan to rush to construction and get axes to conquer what I can. Ramk is committed elsewhere, and may prove to be a pretty easy target despite skirmishers - he's had a late start. However, Plemo's agg axes bear heavily on my mind, and it might just be better to hit him with chariots asap. I plan to monitor the situation in the east carefully, and see if I can make rapid gains. Persians are novice, and I am not too worried, but a collection of 3-4 spears should be arranged in the west.

So those are the demos among the "vet trio" part of the map? I mean, this is going to be a 2v1, and I think I'll try to make it me and ramk vs plemo. Settling city 6 soon, and then going full war mode minus a library in the capital and a settler out of one other city.

Edit: used google chrome for the first time in a long time by accident, now i remembered why I don't use it.

Plemo keeps wanting to sign open borders every turn. I really should send a stack at him to show him what's up in that corn border city. His war with ramk is nothing but opportunity. I wouldn't consider attacking anyone else, but Plemo is ahead and financial, and needs to be neutered.

Additionally, marble up north, so perhaps oracle, but if not, there's GLib, Parthenon (underrated). Oracle into Metal Casting.

Need to box off ramk in the south, planning on settling a city on clams and claiming what seems to be an island south of that.

Pictures will come with the next turn, along with a detailed overview of every city, specialization, and demo analysis.

This game just got interesting.

As promised, here's the write-up.

Currently we are at 6 cities, with two more on the way shortly, and one after that.

The capital is currently building a settler that will go north, claiming the marble. The goal is to claim the marble, and rush out oracle with the remaining forests around the capital. The capital will be a peaceful cottage-monger, working two mines for producing key infrastructure (11 hammers will be enough).

Bombay is the real land of cottages, with nothing in the way in production, although plains cottages will provide just enough to slow-build a library and some necessary economic buildings.

Vijayanagara just whipped a settler. However, it is not much of a city. I'll have it grow out to work a few lakes and mines. Whipping off of the lakes for military will be the only interesting thing here. This site was necessary to protect against Ramk incursions.

Pataliputra is a bit better, i can put in a plains riverside cottage, and a few grassland tiles with inferior cottages. Ok city, but it has potential as a whipping center.

Varanasi borders plemo. Will be important to get some culture here, but this spot is decent. I have 4 tiles to cottage, and some silks.

2 food and silver, unfortunately a lot of tundra. Will be a great launching pad for naval exploration on the outer coast.

Next city spot. Great for city growth, marble, but sadly lots of tundra

Lots of mine and clams, the newly-whipped settler goes here and will expand to the island below. This will give the commercial bonus desperately needed.

The third planned spot, kind of mediocre, but it'll do as a coastal site.

Demos look competitive, but not as solid as one would hope. Building a library in the capital, securing a few city sites, and perhaps sniping a city from the overly-expanded plemo will correct this. Good to be #2 in land area, bad to be behind in gnp (although, we have little in the way of culture). MFG 5th isn't relevant because nearly tied with leader, 6 hammer difference. #1 approval rate means I am not using charismatic to its full extent. I need to let the capital grow out fast.

GNP competitive with neighbors.

Ramk is really losing it here, although plemo and I are leaders.

Food for thought. Where do I expand?

I have the three cities above to fill in as obvious spots. However, after that choices are limited. I can settle in the face of Ramk and Plemo, about 3 cities, but this is precarious, those cities aren't great, etc. Although, one below Bombay could be passable.

The other option is to go west, towards gira. He has stonehenge, and looks to be playing a passive game. I have demos on him soon, and will decide accordingly. I think, however, city spots in his direction are mediocre.

Another option is to go south with a stack, taking out the severely weakened Ramk. This will be difficult without catapults and because of his skirmishers.

Finally, attack plemo head on, and tame the beast. Ramk should be nothing but cooperative.

2 cities settled this turn. 1 more coming in 2 turns. Econ taking a downturn, but each maintenance increase is countered by another cottage.

The turn pace this game has been nothing but turbocharged.

It seems that my place as 2nd in CY is very solid. Plemo is way off the charts. Ramk's capital is an undefended size 3 shitter. Seems ripe for invasion.

GNP is crap, but libraries coming in 10 turns. Maybe I can mobilize against ramk? I do not think I can afford to drag Plemo down.

Thank you for your nice updates! Can you give us an overview about the technological advancement of your neighbors? I think you do quite well on your own so you will find surely a good decision for your expansion needs.

Can't really tell about their techs, I haven't been following demos too specifically, but I assume they're ahead in tech.

Even at 100% research I am in 7th place gnp, whereas Plemo is first in every category except MFG. However, libraries should be coming soon.

I don't understand where this massive boost came from ;/ he must've turned on the tech sldier just now. I really need to get libraries up, and I've been focusing on connecting cities with a thorough road network, should put in a few chops urgently.

Next 2 cities on island and near fish.

Then I am off to colonize the tundra.

Sending a chariot up here was enough to make plemo's settler run away.
