Currency in 6! Having to grow Sim City a little slower working the elephant and work the grassland hill below instead of deer, but worth it.
Look at this beauty keeping me in this game. Worker will go cottage the plains river tile next for when last whip anger wears off. Currently #1 in GNP again.
Forgot to mention El Grillo has 9 cities and Lazteuq has 8. Yes I could have been tracking this from the beginning or gone and searched in PBSPY, but look I'm too lazy for people that far from me.
Also two pop whipped both workers. Cities will regrow and then two pop whip some settlers. I may go to flat research after currency as I don't want SD looking too closely over here especially with me settling a city in his face.

Turns out that Lazteuq is actually inbetween Gira and Superdeath. Also Superdeath is almost out of room to expand.
Vanrober's 5th city is my direction (he placed a few turns ago but just popped culture. I think he settled pig, horse, and the plains copper. I'm hoping he doesn't try to snipe my city there. He has a combat II shock axe chilling on that hill. Whipping settler next turn. It was going to go near SD, but I think I'll go snag the rice copper city instead. Its not better, but it is safer and more part of my core. I have 2 axes finishing so can have 3-4 up there. I should have thought this through before moving. Wasted a worker turn; ah well.

Maybe I'm overreacting again. I'll see where / if the axe moves next turn. Even if he settled near that z I could still settle mine. Danger would be if he settled on the hill with rice in first ring. Long term hes toast, but short term he's still dangerous. Vanrober has only done a single pop whip recently and again he just settled city #5 five turns ago.

Turn 90. I did graphs recently. I also just two pop whipped 3 cities soooo only GNP looks good. #1! GKC actually was just a smidge above me last turn. He did an impressive brief spike. My tech path is currency > sailing > organized religion > some expensive tech (thoughts on this later).
Here is a zoomed out map so you can see what I've scouted of SD. Spear is turning around now that I've discovered his neighbor. Scout will go on. Note that in addition to the floodplains at his copper city he also has a grassland gem with food in the first ring. Leap Frog is sad ; also The settler coming from Leap Frog is only its second of the game and its produced no workers. That along with my greenness has slowed my growth curve significantly.
I may end up coming just short on currency due to increased unit cost. Will do some math in 2 turns when Lemmings grows and cottage finishes (funny how a cottage keeps appearing when Lemmings grows). Might have to switch some tiles around; will see. Axe in the east is going on top of that hill to verify Vanrober city location. Assuming he has both the copper and the horse that the desert z city would have had and to be safe I will settle on the grassland hill with settler from leap Frog. Which will also give it another first ring forest to chop. I have vague thoughts of rushing a city out to the island near SD. That might be a step too far especially if I take the northwest city. I don't want to go construction as I have a feeling Plemo will target mausoleum next, but when next to aggressive Rome. Speaking of the Northwest City. I currently have two forests prechopped that I could turn into a settler. Alternatively I could chop just 1 and two pop whip. Not sure how serious I am about the pyramids; it really isn't very synergistic with Lizzy. However, that Northwest city has the most food I've seen in 1 city plus doesn't have a lot of grasslands so would be a perfect GP farm. I'll probably 1 chop into two pop whip.
Questions, comments, ect?

Pyramids is great, but I think you should be focusing on expansion and military to keep you safe. Certainly I wouldn't put a hammer into pyramids until I have stone hooked up.
You have multiple strong pretty good fishing villages that can be used to run a couple of specialists if you want.
There are always useful wonders to chop out later.
You are about to have currency - use it to expand!!
Also, you need to get a workboat out to look for islands - I dunno if there are any down near you, but you gotta check.

No chops will go into it until organized (after stone). I'm half building for fail gold. Your right about the fishing villages running some as well which makes me want more but still waiting on organized and to have religion there.
I don't want to go too wonder happy, but stone wonders specifically I have higher on the list. I do wonder if marble is on that interior island (partly why I want to steal from SD) or out on one of the other islands.
What 4 settlers in the next 10 turns isn't enough for you???? Literally all cities but Lemmings and Age of Empires will be building 1. Lemmings will be building a grocer slowly.
I cut it off, but there is a 2 tile island for the fish south of leap frog with a tundra horse. There is also something SW of the other fish down there (can't grab). There is a workboat in queue after the settler that the overflow should finish it in 1 turn that will go scout on way up to Northwest city.

4 more settlers is good how many workers do you have?
One thing you might want to think about is that you are likely to be the tech leader (assuming you don't die, of course).
It may make sense to use that tech advantage to pick up wonders

Sooo I was going to say I was going to break my word and do 3 settlers and you have correctly guessed why! That and because Oregon Trail has 2 unhappy and I don't want to whip again that city is going on slow build worker duty. So 1 settler already out, 1 settler next turn from Sim City, and 1 settler whipping in 3 turns from Space Invaders. All cities but the southern one will have 2 workers each attending to their needs.
I'm not actually leading in tech ATM (although I probably will be). Both El Grillo and Ramk already have currency, which is good because known tech bonuses are only reason I'm finishing it next turn. Not sure why Ramk didn't go for metal casting. He only got to 6 cities recently.
Speaking of not dying...... GKC declared war on Gira. Not sure how planned this was vs just seeing Gira super low on power. GKC has two weak neighbors long term so he has good prospects.
Forgot to put it on last 50 turns so deal with it. Yes that is yours truly in 3rd (and 3rd in demo's) for military. SD has been doing some heavy scouting with his open borders access I'm assuming feeling out my paper tiger military. Next turn my intent is to do some kind of health for health resource trade and throw in 1gpt on my side. Try to persuade him I'm friendly and harmless with my #1 GNP over here.
I would love to go calendar and snag Mausoleum both for my own philosophical purposes and also to keep it out of the hands of Plemo. And that is what I 100% would do if I didn't have aggressive Rome on my border....... I kind of feel like after organized I have to go construction for my UU.

You know I agree with picking up construction
Personally, I think you should do it next, not wait till after OR - if you go for it, you delay hwacha by something like 4 or 5 turns - 1 to save up gold, 2 or 3 to research monotheism and 1 to switch to OR.
I think if SD is running out of space and he's scouting you, you look like a great target - for one thing, you have a shiny academy!!

Vanrober in tech thread:
Quote:I also have some doubts about the game that I have consulted with my deadlurker BAII and I am waiting for him to answer me before playing the turn, I hope it will not be too long.
In the above screenshot you can see his combat II shock axe approaching Age of Empires. I'm wondering if he's thinking about taking a shot. He sees 3 axes going to my new city, maybe he thinks I don't have more coming in (you can see 2nd axe and chariot coming to be there next turn, so hes SOL if he does). I'm half posting to remind him I am engaged with this game and maybe he will see it and not be stupid.
Next tech is sailing for obvious synergy with settling 3 coastal cities and getting currency. Spear is going to be scouting SD's copper city, but neither other border city has shown a build up of anything. SD got sailing recently so I'm betting he goes to settle the inner island and the other island off his west coast first. Plus, organized religion not only is really efficient, but Judaism hasn't fallen yet. Never to early too start thinking about win conditions. If Plemo can be slowed and we don't have a runaway the easiest way to win would probably be culture.
Current contenders for winning:
1) Plemo
2) El Grillo - He has got to be near Plemo so a war of #1 & #2 would be lovely.
3) GKC depending on how Gira invasion goes
4-6) Me, Lazteuq, SD. Lazteuq needs to do something with philosophic other than 1 scientist and not be conquered, SD needs to conquer someone, I need to not be conquered. Note all 3 of us are in the same area of the world.
7) Ramk
8-9) Friends Vanrober and Gira. Even if Gira holds off GKC maybe losing 1 city, they both have just been way too slow. Vanrober was slowed down by Ramk. Ramk was slowed down by himself and then by trying to hold the Vanrober city early. He probably should have just raised it.
