GRASS Stains are hard to get out of clothes
IRON Stains are worse
SPOT (as in a spot of food staining a shirt)
CELL (Stained to make structures visible under a microscope).

Can't see anything else. Not really sure about an ordering.

We had TEACHER as a possibiility for Waltz, so I'd say UNICORN for the second Dragon word, except that don't the four Stain words take us to the finish line? I guess that the second word must have been IRON or GRASS?

A 4-clue when we're 4 from finishing indicates to me that we're off on UNICORN being the other Dragon word.

GRASS stains PANTS.
CELL samples can be analyzed with IRON staining.
WALLs can become stained.
Tough stains require SPOT cleaning.

GRASS > PANTS > CELL > IRON/SPOT > WALL would be my guess.

 GRASS-PANTS For sure.

The next few... hmm.. you might STAIN your MOUTH with a blue popsicle...

STAIN is a SPOT on your clothes..

Those are my guess.. with GRASS/PANTS being 100%

We seem to have fallen for the pitfall of "big clue, lots of reasonable-sounding words the team agrees on, guess order goes out the window". My bad frown

I dunno, we were all pretty sold on GRASS. I hadn't really considered PANTS; personally I think it's possible but no stronger than any of GRASS alright, IRON, CELL, SPOT.

Will have to see if we can recover ...

Huh, didn't see that coming. I don't see how GRASS links to Headshot or Creep, so I guess we just got lucky.

For Rope, WELL and WHIP are really the only words I can see.

We have 4 words left and can only guess 3, so Bob is probably trying to warn us not to go for +1 guesses. So I say we guess 2 Rope words, publicly state a +1 guess (I vote EYE) and then pass. Guessing a third word is an unnecessary risk, since the difference between 1 to go and 2 to go is rather low and getting another red word will almost certainly give them the win.

Ummm...

TIE, SHIP, and LEAD seem like the only really rope-related clues on the board, but they're all guessed already.
I guess you could make a WHIP out of rope, but they're usually leather.
Some people hold up their PANTS with rope instead of a belt, but that seems like a red word.
You can tether something to the WALL with a rope. Or, use a rope to climb a rock WALL?
You use a rope to lower the bucket into a WELL, but that seems like a stretch.
You could lead a UNICORN with a rope.
You could use a rope to tie up someone in a CELL.
You can rope someone into a bad CONTRACT.

Frankly, I have no idea. Those all seem like terrible guesses with at best a secondary relationship to the clue. Maybe someone else has a better word I'm just not seeing?

i really like WALL, I think you can use a rope on a wall, creep over a wall, and I don’t know why I didn’t think of this before but you put headshots on a wall when you are looking at a bunch at the same time. I think this is a headshot or creep word.

I also really like WHIP because it is literally and rope.

I think WELL is also very good for rope.

If I were trying to get two words like whip and well or whip and wall rope works for both.

I’m 100% on whip. Not sure what should be our second guess

WK is right we should go for 2 and plan a +1 that can be confirmed by a 1 clue or disproved by another 2 clue.
