From what i know in USA every  state has his own politics related to corona virus, but i seen worse then dave statement people acusing Trump that theyr bicycle was stollen. And the most cases from what i read are in liberal states which even Trump would  say a good thing they reject that right way because Trump bad.

So they do whatever they think is good and if result is bad is Trump fault,Very convenient.And if rezult is good was all theyr leadership...

Now, I'm sure you're well-informed on the latest from RT, Sputnik News, and the crowd at Svetlana's cabbage cart, but pardon me if I doubt that some semi-literate Romanian idiot savant has his finger to the pulse of the American public.

Re: COVID spikes. Since this also became politicized, I will try to remain as objective as I possibly can. I will definitely caution against interpreting raw case numbers as this data has to be normalized at minimum: a) by population, b) number of tests performed, c) test criteria/requirement/availability. In addition, "test" also differs quite a bit as different qPCR systems use different primers/conditions:

There's not nearly enough outrage about the Roger Stone commutation: it's the official sign the USA is being run by the Mafia. Keep quiet, be a good soldier, and you'll be protected (the same message that was consistently sent to Stone during his trial). It's understandable that the Gaslighter in Chief and his minions would have no problem with Stone being convicted of lying to Congress (which has never been disputed), since lying is a way of life for them, but the official messaging is so egregious that it can't be allowed to fester without contest. First, there is no "Russia Hoax", no matter how many times they say it. Russia *did* interfere in the election, in an effort to get Donald Trump elected. Stone was coordinating with Julian Assange to release emails stolen by the Russians, to embarrass the Democratic candidate and her campaign aides. Then he lied about it, and attempted to intimidate his confederates into lying about it also. Contemporaneously, Trump was asking the Russians to hack Clinton's emails during a presidential debate, and making dark predictions about how more incriminating stuff was going to appear.

After the conviction, Trump's lap dog of an Attorney General blatantly interfered in Stone's sentencing; now Trump himself is sending the message that he'll clean up after future fall guys if they keep their mouths shut. It's especially ironic given the recent downfall of Jeff Sessions, who did more than anyone to implement Trump's xenophobic agenda but was chased out of the administration and then undermined in his senate campaign after having the gall to follow the law instead of protecting Trump.

Alabama students are throwing 'COVID parties' and betting who gets infected first, city officials say.

On one hand, one could look at this map and attribute these results entirely to governance - it's abundantly clear nearly all "republican" states are going through a rebound or still going through their first wave.

On the other, california, washington, oregon are experiencing much of the same - I believe there's an additional layer to what's going on.

There is a large difference of mentality between the people in the red/yellow and deep green states on this map. Suburban living lulls people into a false sense of security regarding disease transmission and their contact with others. There's this false sense of independence and that everyone is the lord of their castle - they set the rules and expect predictable outcomes. The red/yellow are generally far more suburban/rural, or have this "let's go to the beach" laid-back mindset like from the article I linked. I've not observed this sort of behavior in Philly.

Or it's just an A/C map. Outside of NY (anomalous in general), the worst places in the spring were where people were sticking inside because it was still cold. Those areas are now nice, thus more outdoor time, and the places where it gets very hot and people pack into air conditioned indoors see an uptick. Although if you adjust cases per test I don't know if it comes out in a wash (testing per capita is ramping up all over but different states have different testing rates).

That talk of a novel respiratory virus gets put into a politics thread tells you all you need to know about the hyper-politicization of the current era.
